Chapter twenty-four: Fight with Rairai

Fuli's POV
After Kiara told us what happened, we ran to the falls. I looked over the edge. No one was there. Suddenly, I heard a yelp from Beshte. We turned. It was Rairai. " Going somewhere, Lion Guard?" She asked, licking her lips.

" Yes, actually." Ono said. " Haha! I'm gonna make a meal of you!" She laughed. This stinks! We were here to save Kion! Not fight with a dog! She jumped on Bunga and raked his face. To be honest, I couldn't care less that his face was destroyed, but he made the biggest deal about it.

" Ah my face! My glorious face!" Bunga said. He dropped to his knees creepily. Ono and I rolled our eyes. She then, slashed Onos wings. He fell hard to the ground. She tried to claw me. I dodged with my agility.

This would be easier if Kion were here. Instead I was here, with a doofus, another doofus, and a too smart bird. I slashed at Rairai's eyes. She screamed, and I could see blood pour out of her eyes. I had blinded her.

" Everything's gone black!" Then she screeches, and runs away. " Is everyone ok?" I asked. Ono nodded, shaking out his wings. Beshte wiggled his ears. He was fine. Bunga cried out. " I'm fine!" He got up. His left ear was slightly shredded, and his nose had a good rake.

Looks like we won this battle.
