Caroline's POV
I woke up in a... Bone cage? Wha... Is this the out lands? " Hehe! Nice seeing you!" Janja said, and three crocs slicked up to my cage. How can crocs be evil? Weren't they not?

" Greetings human! You look like you would make a tasty snack," one croc said. What is wrong with the food chain? Since when do crocs eat humans or lions? " Boys, get at her! I don't care what you do, just get rid of that mangy, puny human!" Janja laughed.

My ears flattened. This wasn't going to end well. I was in trouble. Huge trouble. Where was the Lion Guard when I actually needed them? I backed up in the cage in fear. I don't like spiders, but this was about as bad as being stared at by a spider

One of the crocs snapped his jaw at me. I leaped. He laughed. " Stupid cub! Doesn't know when I'm just messing with you!" The croc chuckled.

He swiped at me. I swiped back. " Groo!" He roared, obviously not expecting me to fight back. He thruster his head back and forward, try to get rid of the pain. " Boys! Let's ripe   her apart." And they did just that.

A growl filled the air. " Leave that lion alone, fish breaths!" A feminine voice snarled. The crocodiles swig their heads to face the animal who spoke. So did I. I recognized that voice. I wouldn't mistake it for any other animal.
