The Lion Guard and the Lion( first in series)

Chapter seven: Menacing Crocs

Janja's POV
I decided to ask some crocodiles for help. They could easily tear a cub like her in half! I asked, and they all said that they needed something on their part. I told them," I will give you meat!" They agreed. I smiled and laughed evilly. This was going to be good.
Caroline's POV
We all sat down. " What do we do now?" I asked. " Sit here and wait, I guess," Kion said. I then heard a low snarl. What's that? " Kion! Lion Guard! I heard a growl!" I said. " You heard it?" Kion asked, getting up.

" Yes, and smelled it!" I added. " I'm pretty sure smelled is not a word," Ono said. " Does it matter? There are dangerous crocodiles about to attack the pride lands," I said, puffing out my chest like an apprentice warrior cat, who was about to become a warrior.

" You're right! Lion Guard, get a move on!" Kion ordered, running out of the cave. " Yes Kion!" Bunga said, following. " Well, come on! Those crocs won't stop, if we just leave them be," Fuli mewed, beckoning me with her tail.

" Of course!" I said, my tail curling up around my lion body. " Great! Come when you're ready!" She mewed. Looks like someone is taken a liking to me, I thought, my muzzle curving into a small tint of a smile.

I stood up. My pelt ached with exhaustion. I guess I have been running around too much. The sun was already getting ready to sleep. My jaw stretched in a yawn. Every single air component out there went into my sleepy pelt.

Then I noticed something. A paw stretched out, to meet my hindquarters. The other paw, clamped over my mouth, muzzling me. " Heh heh heh! Oh, Caroline! It's nice to see you!" Janja cackled, and his two minions  cackled with him.

" Let's take a little break, friend!" Janja growled, his teeth meeting my flank. He sank his strong, hyena fangs in. Pain flared throughout my body. " Lights out, human!" He snickered, throwing me against the wall. I was helpless to do anything.
