Chapter twenty-one: Janja goes crazier than normal

Kion POV
I continued my trek. Sniffing out my friends scent. I found her. I ran to Caroline. " Thank goodness you are ok!" I exclaimed. She only stared at me. Suddenly, a sound was heard behind me.

" Well well well! I see that fur ball, Rairai couldn't kill you!" Janja laughed, his goons all behind him. " Caroline, get back!" I ordered her. " What why...oh!" She said, suddenly realizing why I wanted her behind me.

I opened my mouth, and the clouds behind me got ready to roar with me. I let out a loud roar. Janja and his goons were trying to fight unsuccessfully against the roar. I kept roaring, until they were near to the border of the Outlands.

" Grrr! This is the last time that I lose to you, Kion!" Janja basically screeched. He jumped and his paws got me. We both landed in the river. Janja looked surprised that he was in water. " Ugh!" Janja growled, disgusted, as he was trying to unsuccessfully flail in the water.

I looked on ahead. I heard a rushing sound. It was a waterfall. My ears flattened. " Uh oh!" I said. " Uh oh, what, Kion?" Janja asked, hatefully. " Waterfall!" I screamed. " W-waterfall?!" Janja said. Caroline was skirting the edge of the water. " Get the rest of the guard!" I ordered her. She looked reluctant, but she nodded, and ran back.
