Kion's POV
I was nosing the ground. Jasiri by my paws. I blinked at her. I wonder how Caroline is doing? I heard a cry. Is that Caroline? Or Fuli complaining of burrs in her fur? I decided to investigate and told Jasiri to follow me, because I thought someone was in trouble.

When we were walking, I noticed several things, first off, there was a dead animal on the ground. I couldn't tell because it was splattered like it was trapped in a cave in.

" So you really believe that someone is in trouble?" Jasiri asked me. " Of course I heard a cry! That could mean Janja and his clan. This must have been their plan to keep us off guard." I told her. " Oh," she said, looking at the ground.

That was about when I saw blood all over a top of a tree. I gulped with nervousness. Was that Caroline's? I shuddered and so did Jasiri. We both didn't want to lose her. She was valuable to the team, and she knows how to solve things very quick.

Suddenly, I saw a whimpering animal on the ground. " Dogo!" I shouted. The little  jackal was on the ground all bloody and ragged. " Kion?" The not so energetic animal said. "  Yes, and me, a hyena by the name of Jasiri!" Jasiri quietly introduced.

" My mom did this to me. She said I was worthless after I helped them," Dogo whisper, shaking. His whole entire body was bleeding. " Is that your blood up there?" I quietly asked him. " Well, most of it. Some is my family! None is your friend. She escaped. I shouldn't have ever thought that I could eat. My mom is a liar." Dogo shivered, and his blood stained the ground.

" Can you help me?" He asked, looking as if he was dying. " Of course, Jasiri, can you please bring him back to Pride rock and take care of him?" I asked. " Of course. And you can find Caroline." Jasiri said.
