The cold wind blew as Robb, Jon and Ashara were practicing in the armory yard.

Robb and Jon were dueling with wooden swords to see who would challenge Ashara. They both knew she was very skilled with and sword and were always ready to challenge her. The two had shead their tunics to reveal their toned chests. Ashara sat on a block of hay chewing mint leaves.

Jon sliced the edge of his sword at Robb who dodged it quickly. Jon jabbed at Robb who blocked it with ease. Ashara could she Jon was getting discouraged, he wanted a fight not a defence fight.

"C'mon Snow, that all you got,"  Robb teased, jumping out of the way from another of Jon's attacks.

"No, this is," Jon replied jabbing faster.

Robb turned to get out of the way but Jon sliced at Robb's neck. The wooden blade made connect with his skin of throat, Robb wasn't hurt at all.

"Dead," Jon said smirking.

The two shook hands and patted each other's backs. They turned to Ashara who was clapping slowly and walking over to them.

"Nice job boys. Eh, Jon, you ready to get your ass kicked," she taunted, picking the sword from Robb's hand.

"And why is a lady like yourself talking to us like that," Jon said getting in a ready postition.

Ashara just smiled at Jon, before he said, "I'm not letting you win this time."

"We'll see about that Snowy."

Ashara held her sword in her right hand and twirled it. Jon ran at her and threw a lash down, she blocked and dodged it. He attentpted some more attacks that pushed Ashara back to a pile of hay stacks. She climbed up on them and smiled down at Jon.

"What's the matter Jon, a bit out of your wrist," she taunted.

"Not likely," he said and started to climbling up the two stacks to reach her.

"Not going to get me that easily," she said and jumped over his head and landed on her feet upon the ground.

"Oh c'mon," she heard Jon say.

Ashara waited on the gound for Jon the resume the fight.

Jon attempted most of his normal offence attacks. After he made most of the attacks he closed the attack. Sometimes the best defence is the best offence, Ashara thought. When he closed the attack she decided to finish him, she turned quickly to his back and jabbed her elbow between his shoulder blades. He let out a groan and fell to the ground, on his stomach. Ashara put her foot on his back to hold him down and then she put the tip of her wooden sword on the back of his neck.

"Dead," she said, to hear Robb and Theon, whom she had not noticed him arrive, chuckling behind her. She helpled Jon to his feet.

"Seven Hells Ashara," he groaned holding his shoulder.

"C'mon Jon you'll be fine," she said.

"Robb come inside quickly," it was Lady Catylen Stark.

Robb and Theon ran in, as did Jon, followed by Ashara.

The news came, King Joffery was coming to the North for a 'visit' with some of the other Lannister family. The Starks had many things to prepare for before the arrival, in three days. Cleaning, polishing, dusting, preparing food, lighting candles.

Lady Stark said Ashara was not needed, which was odd because Catlyen always wanted extra help. She headed up to her chambers. As the sun started to set and Ashara was reading at her desk, there was a knock at the door. She opened the door to find no one was there, only a letter on the ground addressed to her. She picked it up and tore it open.

Dearest Ashara,

For many moons I have admired you. Your spirit, your wildness, courage, and your loving attitude. There are some many things I love about you, to many to count. The sun should never set again until I tell you my feelings. Meet me at the pond at Godswood at the last ray of sun. Til we meet.

Your lover,

?

It was a secret admirer note. She had never got one, but she heard of ladies in the south being swooned by them. She never thought of loving someone, or someone loving her.
