The people of the village rejoyced and happiness fill each one of them. The women and man who had first greeted Ashara, Simo and Alcon Somm, brother and sister, were the leaders of the people. They decided, with the food that was generously given, that the village would hold a feast in the Princess' honor. Ashara accepted with gratitude, Dand advised against it but Ashara woud hear none of it.

The feast was held in the village square with all the villagers. A hefty fire towered in the middle of the square, music from old rusty instruments, people danced and feasted. The people brought out their furs and lay them on the ground. There was a special place that Simo had made for her. Ashara thanked her but told her that she would rather sit with the people. Ashara sat down with Janyance who was overjoyed to be with her. Dand sat and talked to Alcon, the men talked about the battle and the attack, and how long it had been.

Ashara laughed with the crowd as the children put on a play to lift up their spirits. Jon sat next to her and whispered, "Come with me, I want to show you something." Ashara loved Jon's surprises, so she told Janyance that she would be back soon and put her cloak over the yawning girl.

Jon led Ashara just outside the village to a forest area by a stream. Jon turned Ashara around and kissed her with much passion.

"I wanted to that all night," Jon smiled.

"Well I am impressed with your self control," she chuckled as Jon pulled her in and kissed her lips then her neck, hungrily.

"Jon," Ashara said slightly pushing him away, "Jon, stop."

His lips left her skin and his eyes met hers.

"What has gotten into you," Ashara uttered. Jon pulled her body into a warm embraced that made Ashara tingle.

"I don't know what I'd do without you," he breathed into her hair and they broke their embraced, "I love you so much."

"As do I," Ashara sighed.

Jon dropped to one knee. "Then marry me," he stated, "I will love you to the end of time and beyond."

Ashara held her gasp in. Then she thought of her father, what would he think. At this moment she didn't care, she only cared for their love, and Jon was perfect.

Jon held out a simple gold ring with a simple gem in the centre.

"Ashara," Jon asked nervously.

She looked at Jon and the ring and thought this was the perfect man.

"Yes," she breathed, "Yes, Jon Snow I will marry you." Tears trickled down her face as they embraced each other and the two kissed each other feriously.

That's when Jon unlaced Ashara's dress and Ashara untied Jon's breaches.
