At the moment Ashara recognized Dand she pointed her bow at him. Ready to fire, gritting her teeth hard, jawing hurting.
"How did you find me, did Cormag send you," Ashara gritted through her teeth.
"Stand down Ashara," Dand said shocked at her actions and his hands flew up in defeat.
Ashara turned her head to Robb,"Go ahead without me, I will catch up."
"But Ashara-,"
"Go! Now," Ashara shouted angryily. Her party led my Robb hurried and left her with a tratior of a man.
"It took us so long to find you, the king," Dand started.
"Cormag," Ashara shouted in outrage,"one of the reasons I left Ariies to fullfill my destiny." She thought of Kuhkuri in the bucket and how he is one of the reasons she is where she is. At this time Ashara wished that Ghost and Greywind were with her, but they were at the camp with Jon and the rest of the army. She wanted reassurance with them.
"He has been so worried for this long time, he wants you home," Dand said calmly.
"So what, he can marry me off the some snobby bastard of a duke lord. No, it will never happen. So much good has happened since I left the isle of Ariies. I am married to a man that I love, and he loves me, I have a daughter Jany and I am with my real family, the Starks."
"You married," Dand yelled in anger as he pulled on his hair.
"Yes, and Cormag had no say in it, so now Jon Snow, or should I say Jon Arii, is the prince. He is my lover and no longer my squire, the men trust him with their lives, as do I."
"You do not get it Ashara, do you. You are so naive and stupid. King Cormag will lash out on you with a thousand whips for what you have done," Dand stated coldly as he shifted on his saddle.
"You call your princess niave and stupid, you," Ashara spat at him and pointed a finger at him,"Should be glad you have your head."
She turned Horas into the direction that her group left to.
"You Dand McRae are here by stripped of your Lordship title, you are no longer needed by the royal household. I, Princess Ashara Arii, future ruler and protector of the isle realm, no longer need your services. You can got back to Ariies and live your days out."
Before Dand had a chance to reply Ashara took off into a furious gallop on Horas as fast as he could take her. She let a few tears trickle down her face before the cold wind blew them away.
Dand's words stung, she was not naive and stupid. He was naive and stuid to stick his nose in other people's buisness, esecially hers.
She caught up to the group quickly, they were trotting slowly along the trail. Ashara could tell they were close, she could smell the sea and see gulls flying over head.
When Robb caught eye off her his face looked relieved and broke into a smile.
"What was all the crap about, who was that bastard," Theon stated with no remorse.
"None of your buisness Greyjoy," Ashara spat at him, she was not in the mood.
Robb sensed her uneasyness so he rode beside her as comfort as they reach the shore line, and the port. Ashara squinted and saw a ship or two closing into port.
The port they were at was occupied by villagers who left to get south for the bitter weather at around this time, so no one was there. Ashara didn't understand why the villagers left every year, but she thought not everyone was so pleasant towards the snow and the bitter cold weather, unlike the Starks.
"That's them," Theon questioned.
"No it's the fairy queen," Ashara said sarcasticly,"Of course it is them."
The group found refuge from the wind under a large towering pine tree. The horses were fed and food was given out and the party rested. But, there was something to attend to, Oscar's wound.
She summonded Dommeric to get medical supplies from her pack and bring it to her. She learned to tend to wounds from watching people in the courtyard in Winterfell praticing got wrong.
Ashara and Dommeric gave Oscar some milk of the poppy to get him drousy and may cut out some of the pain. Ashara got him to lie down on an old blanket. When the drink started to kick in Ashara ripped off the sleeve of his tunic.
The wound looked better than Ashara had first thought of, most of the bleeding had stopped, but Oscar's shoulder was covered in dry blood. Ashara took in a deep breath and pulled the arrow from the flesh. Oscar felt some of the pain and shouted out in pain. Dommeric applied pressure to the open wound and Ashara grabbed cotton thread and a needle and started to stitch up Oscar. As she finished the process and applied a herb cream Dommeric took a clean piece of cloth out and wrapped Oscar's whole shoulder. Thank goodness they finished up in time because Oscar was starting to come around.
"Thank you Princess," he spoke softly.
"You should be thanking Dommeric too," she smiled as she looked over to Dommeric who was cleaning up his hands, "Rest now."
She placed a wool blanket that was packed over the young man.
Ser Rodrik and Robb were deep in conversation as the ships came closer and closer. During their waiting time Ashara sharpened her sword and arrow heads and fed Horas an apple she kept secret.
"Oscar wake up, the ships are here," Ashara spoke as she shook the man. He jolted awake and staggered sleepily to his feet.
The ships docked and Ashara could hear shouts coming from onboard and animal screetches, dragons. She brushed the dust, dirt and pine needles from her dress. She was a Princess about to meet with a Queen, the Queen of Dragons.
