Jon quietly entered his chambers, Ashara was asleep on the bed, her face still red and tear stained. Jon, followed by Ghost walked over to her as softly as they could. Ashara's breath was unsteady and shallow, she whimpered in her sleep. Jon sat softly on the end of the bed and Ashara shot up to a sitting postion. She looked around the room scared and paniced, when her gaze met Jon's she grabbed him and hugged him tightly, and started sobbing. Jon hugged her back and pet her pet and rubed circles in her back.
"Jon... I am so sorry," she sobbed. Ashara never knew that someone could feel this much pain and sadness at the same time.
"No," Jon said, "Never, ever say this was your fault it was that tratior bastard." Jon gave her a comforting look, "Now you need your sleep, tomorrow we head out to the harbor on the coast."
Ashara had completly forgotten, all the days blurred by with emotions. She lay back down and Jon covered her with furs. As Ashara saw Jon turn toward the door she quickly grabbed his arm.
"Please stay," she said meekly and he nodded and lay atop on the furs and held her to his chest. Ashara fell asleep to the sound of Jon's heartbeat and Ghost snoring.
~~
The sun shone through the windows as Ashara awoke to again another empty spot beside her, Ghost was gone aswell. There was a note on the table beside the fireplace as she stood up.
Dearest Ashara,
You we asleep so happily and peaceful, I did not want to wake you. I am getting the army ready with Robb. The Starks are in the Great Hall. I have all your things packed and ready. I have not told Jany about leaving yet, I think you should she loves you deeply. I will be waiting.
Yours Jon.
Ashara dressed in a simple northern women dress that she had left behind and carried her cloak down to the Great Hall. Arya and Jany were laughing and they were chasing one another, Sansa was eating dantily and Ned and Cat were talking to one another. Ashara quietly walked up to the table almost unnoticed.
She kept running through what she was going to say to Jany but none of it seemed right. Jany had been through so much already for a five year old. Then it came.
"Mummy," Jany shouted and she ran over into Ashara's arms. Ashara was careful not to cry.
"Jany," she smiled as they embraced and broke apart.
"Mummy what's wrong," Jany asked politely.
"Mummy and daddy have to leave, just for a little while," Ashara spoke quickly. The look on Jany's face was full of sorrow.
"We will be back soon," Ashara reassured her, "You will not even notice we are gone. You get to stay her with Arya and Grandfather Ned and the whole family. We will be back soon."
But as Jany started tearing up and hugged her mother, Ashara wasn't really sure when they were going to come back or if they were. It made her hold the girl closer to her chest.
"Mummy loves you, never forget that."
She didn't even hear Jon come up behind her and the three embraced each other, with all the love and respect in the world.
~~
As Ashara mounted Horas she kept looking back to Jany who was waving furiously and shouting 'I Love You' over and over again.
Jon and Robb had informed her that late last night was when the scouts were sent out, so that was one of many things lifted from her chest.
The cold northern wind Blew around the army as they made their way to the coast for greet the dragon queen.
Robb estimated that it would take a couple days to reach the coast. The march was uneventful, though Ashara could hear many of her arm complaining about the cold, It could never get cold in Ariies like in the north. Horas seemed to be happier in the cold than in the stuffy Ariies weather. Robb and Jon were catching up and all Ashara could think about was Jany and if she was alright and about her unborn child that never got the chance to see her mother's face. Jon had informed her that the man who had tried to kidnap her was executed. Ashara felt sorry for the man in a way, was he forced to take her or was it his own choice.
Ashara got to know
That night the tents were set up, and the men settled down. Soliders went out and caught game, and they gathered around fires. Ashara could here her Ariies men talking to the Stark men about her in Ariies. She could hear one say, "She was more a wolf then an Ariies lady, she has the north in her."
Ashara walked Horas out to a small area in the forest where no one could hear or see them. She placed the package from Jon containing her weapons on the dirt ground. She was out of practice and needed to pracrice in case any men wanted to take her away from her Jon.
She pulled her bow back and aimed at the tree, with a woosh the arrow imbedded itself into the bark. Horas whinned happily. "I stil got it," she said to him.
Behind her she heard a twig crack, quickly she spun around and aimed her bow.
"Who goes there," she demanded.
"I have finally found you, after all these years," a women's voice came.
"I have no knowlegde of what you speak," Ashara spoke, "Show yourself."
A women covered in fur clothes emerged from behind the tree, a wildling.
Ashara stagered back one foot then regained herself.
"You have your father's eyes," she whispered.
"What are you talking about, you do not even know who my father is," Ashara said annoyed,"Who are you?"
"Ashara, I am your mother," the women spoke.
