It had been a couple of weeks since Danyerys and her army arrived. And many things had happened, the men were trained it startegy by Jon, Robb and Ser Barriston. They had gotten word from the house Dorne, they were on the rebellion side. They were overjoyed that Dany had survived and that there was a Targaryen alive. The Tully's and Greyjoy's were all for the cause. But, Ned and Catylen along with other Stark men were unsure of the Greyjoy's alligence and their word of loyalty. Now the Stark, Tully, Targaryen, Dorne and the Arii houses were united. Unforunatly, the house of Arryn made it very clear they wanted no part in the war, which Ashara respected. Not everyone wanted to be a part of a battle with no certainty of the outcome.
After the week point it was clear Ashara was with another child, and Jon, oh Jon, he was by Ashara all day and night. He didn't want to take any chances this time, Ashara told him it was all right and that she was fine, but Jon would hear none of it. Ashara was grumpy in the mornings and ate more and more day by day.
The first attack came mostly from the Greyjoy's, they took out and held a tight grip on the Fair Isle, just off the coast of the Lannister ports. The Greyjoy fleet was most helpful. The lions ran back to shore with their lion manes messed about. Fair Isle now was the rebellion's sea isle, where the boats and if so men and supplies from Arries would some. It was a strong sea hold.
Theon's sister held and was in charge of the isle, as Theon made his way back to main camp.
Dany was helping Ashara in anyway she could with Kuhkuri, she was fascinated by him. Danny wanted to know about his powers and abilities. Ashara felt as if she could trust her with her life so she did. Ashara told her about how he found her and his incredible abilities.
Then as the army was preparing for a battle, a tragitiy struck.
During the night, Ashara miscarried again. Jon wasn't there at the time. He was helping Robb and Theon with plans. But as the scream filled the camp Jon rushed back to her side and didn't leave. The upcoming battle on hold, on Jon's orders. Robb tried to convince him that he could lead with Dany but Jon would hear none of it.
One cold night Ashara asked one of the servants to run a hot bath in a large tub that Dany had brought and let her use.
And there she was sitting alone, in the silver tub in the tent. The steam of the water surrounding her body. Ashara had dismissed her servant for the night, she just wanted to be alone.
She heard the tent flap open behind her.
"Iris, I told you I want to be alone," Ashara spoke slightly annoyed, not bothering to turn around.
"And why would I leave my wife alone in her own thoughts with no one,' Jon spoke coming into view in front of her.
"Jon," she breathed out, "What are you doing?"
"What, here," he started, "So it is now a crime for caring for my wife?"
"You know I want to be alone."
"I know," Jon sighed, "But Ashara you need to talk to me, I am here, and I know you want to talk to me."
Ashara's eyes stared to water and she let out a frustrated, sad sigh. She covered her face with her eyes and brought her knees up to her chest. Ashara heard something drop to the floor slightly and she moved her fingers and watched as Jon undressed right infront of her. She wanted to gasp and tell him to stop, but she had no energy, it had been two days since she lost another child, two days since they talked to each other. Her body was sore and now even more thin, she had barely eaten. Plus the build up of sweat, dirt and grim had covered her skin and made Ashara feel even worse.
Ashara felt the water rise as Jon joined her in the tub. There was just enough room for the pair.
Ashara was comforted as Jon sat down on the opposite end of the tub and pulled her into his lap.
Jon's soft arms wrapped around her frail body. And the moment to held her Ashara began to weep. The last time she cried this much was when she lost their first child, and now she lost another.
