The day had finally come, the next morning one Ariies squire rushed into her room that the soilders patroling the tower in the morning had seen the group of rebellion comng toward the fort.

Ashara thanked the squire and rushed to get ready. She didn't need a handmaiden, but Iris had been the one to help her in her mornings in the main camp. Ashara even wondered as she changed into a dark grey dress she had brought along, if Iris even knew Oscar was here, waiting. She was intrested to hear Iris' story.

Ashara combed her hair out with her fingers as quickly as she could, slipped on her brown boots, which had been covered in dried dirt from the battle. She picked up her wool cloak which she had just thrown on the ground as a result of last night's exhaustion.

Ashara was about to scurry out of the room, when she relized she wasn't wearing her ring. She turned on her heel back into the room, almost hitting her face in the door frame, and picked up her wedding ring from the table. She slide it onto her finger as she ran down hall and the stairs to find many of the men in the courtyard.

Ashara heard the hooves of horses before she saw anything else.

As the first pair of scout horses came in Ashara felt her lungs tighten in anticipation. More horses thundered in and as the men dismounted many of the soilders went to greet them. It was a beautiful chaos to Ashara, everyone greeting and reuniting with one another.

As Ashara tried to look around and over all the men she couldn't see the gates so she held up the hem of her skirt and trudged throught the muddy ground trying to find a spot to see the gate.

Then she heard it,"Ashara!"

She turned as quickly as she could to the voice at the  front gate to see Jon upon his horse. Ashara silently screamed inside and pushed through the crowd to her husband. Jon jumped off his horse and hurried towards her, cloak trailing behind him, not bothering about his horse.

Their embrace was a heart felt one, Jon twirled her around as she looked down on his face and kissed him. It was a passionate one, emotions flooding in. As they pulled away Ashara noticed a single tear trailing down Jon's face.

"I thought I wouldn't see you again," he murmered against her hair.

Ashara heard someone clear their troat behind her. She turned to see Ned smiling at her. And she jumped up and hugged him too.

That night, after a meal in te rather crowded great hall room, with all the returning soilders and Ashara and Dany had caught up. Ashara was helping a stumbling Jon get to the bedchamber. He had decided to drink a little to much wine at the meal.

After settling him down in bed and staying with him until he fell asleep, Ashara decided to take a walk around the grounds and vist Horas.

Horas was in the stables looking better than before, his wound had healed over, but Ashara could tell it was still bugging him. She took out a brush and started brushing his mane making sure there were no knots. Ashara would stay and brush Horas for hours in Winterfell, just to get out of the castle.

Her mind and body felt more settled at her fingers slowly pet his neck and brushed his mane. As Ashara started to brush the rest of his coat she turned around to see none other than Dand McRae.

"Good evening my lady," he spoke with his arms crossed and weight on his right leg.

Ashara didn't seem to surprised to see him.

"What are you doing here," she asked blankly and turned to Horas and continued on her brushing.

"You know as well as I that I came here to apoligize for my rude behaviour, and ask forgivness, I didn't come here to fight."

Ashara sighed heavily and turned to face Dand.

"Dand, you were my sworn sword when I arrived in Ariies, you were my friend. And when I chose to leave to help people from Westeros and Ariies, I thought you didn't care. When we came across you and your group after you had injured one of my men, a great a loyal man I might add, something in me told me it was not you who came looking for me, but Cormag with you in his place. Is that true?"

Dand sighed running his fingers through his hair and started, "It is true, but it was my true intention to find you. Cormag, was worried sick and had half the kingdom looking for you, he would get drunk and not remember anything. So, I took the chance and tried to find you, for all of us."

"All of us," Ashara questioned.

"Yes, many people in court miss you, as well and people from the central village, and the entire isle. They had their princess then she left."

"I have a duty to protect our home, and my adotped home. And I will not let it go and go back to Ariies, like Cormag wants."

"As you wish my lady," Dand states bowing,"Now, what can I do to help?"
