You walked with him, hand in hand, through the soft, white snow. Feeling the crunch beneath your feet and the snowflakes white fell upon your cheeks, you looked to him.
"Bruce?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
At this, he smiled– a very rare occasion. There was something so warm about it, so inviting and safe. You wanted this moment to last forever.
Step by step, you made your way through the park, watching with bliss as the children threw snow and their parents sat on the benches with smiles across their faces. Winter was something else, something so different from any other season, and you loved it.
"Y/n?" Bruce held onto your hand a little tighter as he called you from your thoughts.
"Hm? What is it?" You looked over at him sheepishly, a soft smile on your face.
"I love you too," Bruce said as he turned to face you, cupping your rosy cheeks in the warmth of his hands. "I really, really do, Y/n."
He then leaned down, filling the space between you two and softly placing his lips upon yours. They were warm and pleasant, and you wrapped your arms around Bruce as he held you in his own. The two of you broke apart from one another, and there was a moment of calm and mellow silence, your foreheads touching.
Smiling, you looked into his eyes. They were devoid of hurt or anguish, and all that was left was love.A request from Gotta_Love_Cakexxx
