"Just stay away from me!" You croaked, wiping your tears as you made you way to the parking lot.
Your boyfriend followed close behind, begging you to stay and talk to him. But as you eye stung every time you blinked, and your head ached, you were scared to even be near him.
"Go away!" You yelled.
"Come on Y/N, I said I'm sorry. It won't happen again I promise." He muttered, standing a few feet away from you.
Your lips quivered as you slowly turned on your heels to face him. Your stomach churning.
"I love you Y/N." He whispered, inching toward you, making your breath hitch to the back of your throat.
You loved him, letting him in once again. How could you just throw two years away. It was a mistake after all, wasn't it?
He brushed his hand over your cheek, making you cringe just by the touch. "But you can't see Dylan anymore." He breathed out.
You furrowed your brows, scanning his face for bluff. "You're kidding right? I signed a contract. I have to play Theresa for three more movies. I can't just quit."
Dylan pulled up to the parking lot, and spotted you two fighting. He climbed out of his car, and made his way over to you.
He could hear everything you two were spewing out, and he wasn't sure exactly how to feel about it.
Your boyfriend clenched his jaw and as the anger boiled inside of him, he back handed you. Making you fall to the ground.
Dylan's eyes grew wide as he witnessed his best friend getting hit by someone he thought he could trust.
And just like that, something snapped in him. "Hey!" He grunted, catching yours and your boyfriends attention. "You are going to pay!" He screamed.
Your boyfriend rolled his eyes and huffed. "Great, just the guy I wanted to see."
You sat up, face aching and throbbing from where he hit you. Your eyes welled with tears, making it hard for you to see.
The boys stomped to each other, and before you knew it, they started to wail on one another. You watched as your boyfriend kneed Dylan in the gut making him fall to his knees.
"Stop!" You yelped, sobbing and trying to even your breathing.
Dylan took in a deep breath, and gritted his teeth together as he propped up on his feet. He crashed his fist into your boyfriends face, then grabbed him by the collar of the shirt and shoved him against the wall.
"If you ever touch her again, I swear I will kill you." He grunted out.
Your boyfriend began to belt out into laughter. The blood dripping down into his mouth. "I knew it. You do love her don't you?"
He furrowed his brows, and slowly released him. He took small steps back, going over everything he had said.
And in that moment, your boyfriend slammed his fist into Dylan's face, knocking him out.
"No!" You yelled. Crawling over to him, you laid his head on your lap. "I don't ever want to see or hear from you again." You gritted.
"Y/N.."
"Go. Now!" You demanded.
You watched as he slowly walked away from you, leaving you alone with Dylan.
"What happened?" He groaned, feeling the sudden pain strike through him.
He slowly sat up, groaning.
"You are an idiot, you know that?" You chuckled. "You shouldn't have-"
"And what, let him hurt you again?" He huffed.
"It was an accident." You whispered.
He pursed his lips and shook his head. "Don't do that. Don't give him excuses. Y/N, what he did, isn't okay."
You rolled your eyes and got up on your feet. This was the last thing you ever wanted to talk about. "Look, I didn't call you because I wanted this to happen, I called you for a ride." You exhaled. "But I'll just walk. Tell Britt that I am sorry for ruining your date. I shouldn't have put you in the middle of it."
Before he could say a word, you started to walk away, tears streaming down your cheeks.
He furrowed his brows, confused on why you were defending him. But then his words crept up on him. Watching you walk away, it pained him.
"Y/N!" He yelled out.
You turn on your heels and let out a long sigh. "What?"
He stomped over to you, and before you knew it, he crashed his lips to yours. His hands cupping your face. You felt a sudden shock course through you, and your stomach flutter from the sensation.
You clasped on to his neck, pulling him in closer, losing yourself into the kiss.
Until the sound of his phone went off, ringing in his pants pocket. It startled you both, tearing away from one another.
He rummaged through his pocket and pulled out his phone. His stomach twisted and his heart pounded profusely as the name lit up on the screen.
It was Britt.
