"Holy shit," Jamie says when he walks into my room, seeing my costume.

"How do I look?"

"Like I'm going to have to fight guys off all night," he says with widen eyes. I blush; it's weird for him to see that way.

"Perfect, then," I smile.

Harry still hasn't responded to my messages from yesterday. I got back to London really looking forward to seeing him but I guess he can't be bothered to respond to me. We were doing good, getting over everything. Now I don't know what to think.

"Earth to Madelyn," Jamie snaps his fingers in my face.

"Sorry," I take my keys off the rack, locking the door behind us.

"So will Harry be there tonight?" he asks. I feel a tug at my heart.

"I'm not sure. Probably," I say. I hope he's there because I need to speak with him about ignoring my attempts to reach out to him.

When we get there, finding a parking spot is hell. We go in circles multiple times before just deciding on giving the car to the valet.

The space is full with people all in their costumes ranging from simple to completely over the top. I pull Jamie through the crowd to my friends once I spot Lana and Chris.

"Heeyy! Shit you look hot," Lana praises after we separate from our hug.

"So do you. Oh, this is Jamie."

"The infamous Jamie. Heard a lot of stories about you," she tells him and he turns his gaze towards me. "Oh really now."

Our group of four soon increases to six as Jackie and her boyfriend Ethan make their way to us.

After introducing them I look over my shoulder to find Alice. She should be here by now.

Instead of finding Alice walking through the doors, I see Harry with his hair slicked back, dressed in a leather jacket and his traditional black jeans and to top it off his boots but he's not alone. He's with Jessica who has her hair is in tight curls, also dressed in black with the only three things being red are her lips, nails, and heels. They're dressed as freaking Danny and Sandy from Grease. Anger but mostly confusion flashes within me. What the fuck?

He tells me loves me, he kisses me, has sex with me, he even tells me he'll call off his fucking wedding but now he shows up with Jess wrapped tightly around his side. I'm such an idiot for putting up with this.

His green eyes meet mine and it feels like I've been stabbed in the heart when Jess leans and whispers something in his ear. His hand is around the small of her back. He definitely has not called off the wedding.

Why is he doing this? Why is he trying to hurt me?

I look away when he places a kiss on her cheek.

I'm not going to let him ruin this night for me. I'm finally seeing my best friend after way too long.

"Dance with me, Ariel," Jamie winks, referring to my costume.

I take his hand in mine, determined to push aside my frustrations and to not let Harry ruin my night. "It would be an honor, Mr. Rogers."

We try to dance and I know we look ridiculous for The Little Mermaid and Captain America to be dancing but it's hilarious. I get so lost in the dancing and laughter with Jamie and my friends that I forget to worry about whatever Harry is trying to pull by coming here with Jessica. From the times where I accidently let my eyes settle on him without him knowing, he looked miserable. I don't get it then.
