*Shawn's P.O.V.*

"So did you really mean what you said about Cameron?" I asked Ashley who layed on my chest with her phone in her hand.

She shrugged. "I mean I meant it when I said he was hot but you know I love you."

I looked down into her big green eyes starring into mine. "I love you too." I whispered kissing her soft lips.

Suddenly, her phone started ringing making her shoot up. "Who is it?" I asked her as she got off my bed.

"Hold on, it's important."

A few minutes later, she came back and began grabbing her stuff.

"Where are you going?" I questioned her curiously.

"Athena's. She's bored and I'm down to hang out with her anyway."

"But what about me? And I thought you didn't like Athena because she's rude to Brooke."

She laughed, shoving her phone into her pocket. "You're going to your guitar lesson soon. And Athena is great. Besides, Brooke is always with Cam now and he's too hot for me to handle."

Rolling my eyes, I got up to walk her out. "Have fun, text me later." I said kissing her cheek before she walked out to her car.

"Ok play a G for me." My teacher, Ms Kate told me showing me how to play it with her fingers on her guitar.

"Like this?" I asked shyly, putting my fingers on the strings.

"Just like that." She said smiling at me.
I smiled back lightly and played the note.

"Perfect Shawn. You're really getting the hang of-"

"I am so sorry I'm late!" A girl around my age said barging into the room.

"Abby dear, you don't have singing lessons today." Ms. Kate told the girl.

"Crap my mom won't be here for another hour." Abby said looking down at her watch.

"I can give you a ride if you like. I'm heading home right now." I offered putting my guitar in it's case.

Abby looked at Ms. Kate in confusion. "He isn't going to like kill me, right?" She asked making Ms. Kate laugh.

"Shawn is a sweet boy. He'd never do anything to hurt you. He'd never even hurt a fly."

"Actually I killed one on my way here." I confessed raising my hand slightly.

"It's ok, I don't like bugs." Abby told me smiling.

*Ashley's P.O.V.*

"Want some chips?" Athena asked shoving her hand into a bag of Doritos.

"Sure," I said grabbing the bag away from her.

"Hey!" She screamed chasing me around her kitchen. I guess this wasn't the best idea since I ran into her back door falling sending the chips to go flying in every possible direction they could.

"Ashley! Look what you did!" I started laughing uncontrollably as I stood up.

As I started helping Athena pick up the mess I made, my phone began to vibrate in my back pocket.

I took it out and read the contact name. BROOKE.

"It's Brooke." I told Athena as I debated whether or not to answer it.

"She'll be so upset if she knows we made plans and didn't tell her or even involve her in that case." Athena said putting her hands over her face.

I looked down at the phone once again and moved my finger from the accept button to the decline button and ended the call.

At that moment I didn't realize how important the call was.
