Week of Updates- Day 5

*Brooke's P.O.V.*
{You Weren't expecting that, were you?}

"Mom, I'm home," I announced walking into Ronnie's house.

Nobody answered, it was silent in the house.

"Mom?"

I walked upstairs to my room and when I got up there, my mom was sitting on my bed sobbing. This was probably another one of those pregnancy side effects or something. She was 7 months pregnant with my soon to be little brother.

Regardless, I sat next to and wrapped my arm around her shoulder, "What's wrong?"

"Pack all of your things."

"What, why?"

"We're moving back to our old house."

"Are you serious?" I asked confused yet excited.

"Ronnie cheated on me. He wants us out of here by tonight. You start school at your old school tomorrow morning. Be ready in an hour."

Before I could say anything else, she walked out.

Oh my gosh, I'm going home.

*Abby's P.O.V.*

"So you just carry the one then multiply that by two," I explained to Alex. We were at his house studying together. He didn't get anything so I had to explain it all. I knew he wasn't paying attention, instead he was starring at me.

"After that all you have to do to finish the problem is-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Alex turned my chin with his cold hands and started kissing me.

I was startled for two seconds, but then I kissed back. Moments later, he pulled away. He was grinning like an idiot.

"That just happened," I said, feeling myself blushing.

"Look I know you're dating Matt but I'm sorry, I had to."

"So back to this algorithm."

*The Next Morning*

*Brooke's P.O.V.*

"Are you ready, sweetheart?" My mom asked as I opened the car door.

"Yes I'll be fine," I chuckled kissing her on the cheek. "I'll see you later."

I got out of the car and excitedly ran inside. I was about to see Matt again.

The school was amazing enough to let me have my old schedule from before I moved so I was off to Mr. Connor's homeroom.

I approached the door. I was beginning to get extremely nervous. My heart was pounding so much, that I felt like it was going to fall out of my chest.

I opened the door to see Matt right away. He was kissing a girl. That girl wasn't me.

I backed out of the room as I felt tears fall from my eyes.

This cannot be happening right now.

I ran to the girl's bathroom, but before I got there, I ran directly into someone.

"Brooke?"

I looked up to see Shawn.

"You're back!" I nodded and hugged him tightly.

"Wait, what's wrong?" He asked pulling away.

I explained everything to him. Everything from the break up to what I just saw.

"Come on, we're leaving for a few hours." He said pulling me out of the building.

*Abby's P.O.V.*

Everyone was already at our table eating once I got their. Even Nate's friends Jack and Kaitlyn were there. The only person that was missing was Shawn.

I began eating and talking to Alex like nothing ever happened when Shawn walked in.

"I have a surprise!" He exclaimed.

I looked at him confused.

Just then, a girl our age walked around the corner.

"BROOKE!" Athena and Ashley exclaimed running over and hugging her.

Oh no.

She smiled and hugged her back.

Her eyes landed on me. She gave me the scariest death glare I've ever seen in my life.

Matt got up and ran over to her hugging her tightly. I watched them as she hugged him back awkwardly.

"I missed you so much, please never leave again." He cried making a small fake looking smile appear on her face.

"Matt, you have a girlfriend what are you doing?

"Stay out of this Alex, what do you know?"

"I know that I kissed your girlfriend, right Abby?"

Shoot.

This is not supposed to be happening right now.

I got up and ran into the bathroom. Once I got in there, I locked myself in a stall.

"Abby?" I heard someone call, coming into the bathroom.

Crap, that's Brooke.

"Go away, I know you hate me?"

"Can we talk?"

"You can, I have nothing to say to you."

"I don't hate you."

"I don't believe you."

"Okay, I do kinda hate you."

"That's fair, I'm not a big fan of you either."

"You cheated on Matt?"

"It's complicated, he kissed me first."

"But you kissed back."

"True but-"

"Do you know how much you just hurt Matt back there?"

"I didn't know Alex would say anything about it. Anyway's doesn't Matt like you?"

"He didn't seem to when he had his tongue down your throat."
