*Matt's P.O.V.*

"I really think you guys should give me a chance. Brooke did. Besides, I've known Nate a lot longer then you and I really don't think you guys sh-"

"MATTT!" A scream called from to me from across the dance floor.

"That was Brooke!" I told Jocelyn and pushed through the crowd to find her.

She was standing in front of Nate with her hands in her face. Nate stood behind her with his hands on her waist.

"Brooke!" I yelled making her look at me. Her makeup was all runny. I could tell she was crying, oh no.

She tried getting away from Nate but his grasp was too tight for her to fight off.

"Let go of her!" I yelled.

"What you gonna do 'bout it boy?" Nate spat putting his grisp tighter around her waist.

Brooke looked terrified, I needed to help her.

Suddenly, Nash, Shawn, and Ashley came back over to us.

Once Ashley figured out what was going on she pushed Nate off of Brooke sending Brooke flying into my arms.

Ashley went over to Nate who was now on the ground and kicked him where the sun doesn't shine making Nate let out a painful screech. "DON'T EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!" Ashley yelled. Nate nodded in agreement.

"I-I was so scared Matt. He t-touched me. " Brooke told me inbetween her sobs.

"It's okay, I'm here. He won't do it ever again. I promise. Come on Brooke lets get you home."

•Monday Morning•

*Brooke's P.O.V.*

I walked down to my English class. Today,I had to which my partner. There was no way I was going to work with Nate. Especially since we had to work on the project outside of school too.

Slowly, I pushed open Mr. S' door to find him sitting at his desk typing away on his computer.

"Brooke, hi." He said turning to me.

"Hey Mr. S." I replied sitting on top of his desk.

"So I need to talk to you about partners for our project." I said quietly.

"Ah yes," he smiled. "I put you with Nate Maloley, correct?"

I nodded, "about that, I can't work with Nate."

"Oh Brooke I'm sorry but we're are already a week into the project I can't switch people now."

"But I-"

"I'm sorry Ms. Jamenson. There's nothing I can do for you. Please head back to your homeroom so you aren't marked absent." He said pushing me out of the room.
