Week of Updates- Day 2

*Abby's P.O.V.*

"Hey baby," Matt mumbled wrapping his arms around my waist.

I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and pecked my lips.

"Where's Alex?" He asked me looking around. "Don't tell me you already lost the kid."

I giggled and shook my head. "He's talking to Mr. Connors. I'm waiting for him so we can go to lunch."

He nodded in suspicion, "You think he's cute, don't you."

He's hot as hell.

"I mean I guess, but I have you. I don't need anyone else." I told him making him smile.

"Speaking of which, I made us plans for Valentine's Day," he smirked, looking very proud of himself.

"Matt, Valentine's Day is over a month away." I giggled.

"Yeah but I want it to be special, for you." He kissed my cheek just as Alex walked out of the classroom.

"Ready for lunch?" I asked him. He nodded and the three of us walked down to the cafeteria.

Once we got there and got our lunches, we joined the rest of our friends at our usual table.

"Alex, this is Nash, Jocelyn, Nate, Shawn, Ashley, and Athena," I told pointing each person as I said their names, "this is Alex, the new kid."

Everyone greeted Alex with a friendly smile.

"Hey Alex you like parties?" Athena asked him. He nodded in confusion. "Good because Ashley is throwing a house party on Friday night, you should come. He nodded once again but this time, he looked happy.

"Wait, wait. You, Ashley. Having a party?" Matt smirked.

"Yeah, I am. What's the problem, Espinosa?" Ashely asked laughing.

"Do your parents know about this? Your sisters?"

"No and they won't." She threatened.

"What if someone like lights your house on fire or something?" Nate questioned talking a sip of chocolate milk.

"It'd be you to do it," Athena pointed out which was totally true.

Friday night came around quicker than expected. Matt came to my house at 6 and picked me up, then we were off to Ashley's.

Once we pulled up to the house, their were already cars lined all up her street. If I had to guess, I'd say there was at least 20 cars here already. As Matt and I parked, we could hear the base of the loud music playing from inside.

"I still can't believe this is Ashley's party." Matt said as we got to the front door.

At the front door, two senior guys from the football stood handing everyone red solo cups as they walked in.

I watched as Matt grabbed a cup, took a sip and walked in with no doubt of anything. One of the guys handed me a cup. Was he crazy? I took the cup from him and dumped it down his shirt before walking into Ashley's house.

"Matt, are you crazy? You don't know what could be in that!" I yelled at him above the loud music once I found him in the kitchen, in front of the sink.

"Relax, babe." He said pouring the substance down Ashley's drain. He then rinsed the cup with water, finally he went over to the fridge and poured iced tea in the cup. He took a sip out of it and smiled at me.

"I'm not that dumb, Abby. I didn't actually drink that."

"DON'T GO IN THERE THAT'S OFF LIMIT!" Ashley yelled running past Matt and I. She ran into her mom's room after a couple that just invited themselves in.

"Yeah I doubt she's having anymore parties." Athena laughed walking over to us.

"Is Alex here?" I asked her since she's obviously been here a lot longer than me.

"Yeah right over their," she replied pointing into the corner of the living room where he was talking to Nash and Jocelyn.

I was glad he was getting to be friends with my friends. I could tell he was enjoying himself. He was finally starting to get used to all of us.

We all had a good time other than Ashely who is going to have to explain a broken Window and a ripped couch to her mother in the morning.

Around 3am when everyone finally left, but Athena, Nate, Jocelyn, Nash, Shawn, Alex, Matt, and I all stayed to help Ashley clean up the house.

By about 5am I got home and was fast asleep in my own bed.
