"Brooke and her friends were anything but serene."

*Matt's P.O.V.*

As soon as school got out today, I drove to Brooke's house to see if she was ok.

I pulled up to the house and noticed a new car in the driveway. "Maybe she has family over," I told myself as I got out of the car and approached her house.

I knocked on the door and a few moments later her mom appeared in the doorway.

"Matt sweetheart, long time no see!" She said smiling at me.

I smiled back saying, "I know, is Brooke here?"

"Yes, she's up in her room. Make yourself at home."

I walked into the house, thanked Mrs. Jamenson, and went upstairs to Brooke's room.

Once I was outside her door, I heard Justin Bieber's Overboard blasting through her room. I knocked loudly soo I was sure she'd hear it.

"Leave me alone, I don't want to talk." She yelled, turning the music up louder.

"Brooke," I said in a bold voice, "it's Matt."

Suddenly, the music was cut off making the room silent. The door opened revealing a tired looking Brooke. She had on a hoodie, sweatpants, and her Vans. I noticed she had no makeup on and her hair was in a messy bun.

"Come in," she whispered ushering me into her room. I walked into the familiar room and noticed  many cardboard boxes were scattered around her room.

"What's going on?" I asked confused as I sat down on her bed.

She took a deep breath and starred off into the corner of her room. "Matt, I'm moving."

- Earlier that day -

*Ashley's P.O.V.*

"Ashley, are you in here?" Athena yelled walking into the bathroom.

"No," I yelled back between my sobs.

Just then Athena crawled through the crack and stood up and looked at me as I stood on the toilet seat with a load of tears rolling down my cheek.

Athena lifted me off the toliet and held me in her tight embrace as I cried.

"Matt's right, if Brooke is dead, it would be all my fault. I was going to answer it but I was having so much fun with you an-"

"Shhh," Athena said stroking my head, "I'm sure Brooke is okay. And Matthew is wrong, this is not you're fault.

Athena pulled me out of the stall just as Jocelyn and Abby walked in. "Hey are you ok?" Abby asked as they approached us.

I shrugged, wiping off my makeup with a paper towel. "Brooke was my first friend here other then Shawn and I don't want her to be hurt."

"Hey, you were my first friend here other then Shawn and I don't want to see you hurt." Abby said pointing at me. "I've never met this 'Brooke' but I'm sure she's strong. I'm sure she's alright."

"Abby is right," Jocelyn agreed.

"Maybe Brooke wanted to hang out with you last night so that's why she called both you and Matt last night. Maybe she just so happened to get sick this morning so her mom kept her home." Athena said.

"Athena is right too," Jocelyn spoke. "How about we go get some icecream to get our minds off of all of this."

*Present Time*

"And I'll have a double scoop vanilla on a cone please?" Abby ordered making us all laugh.

"You're so  basic!" Athena choked.

"Hey! Don't make fun of me for letting my inner white girl out!"

Jocelyn picked up Athena's coffee and took a sip out of it. "Oooo look I'm Abby and I like Starbucks and Chipotle." She mocked.

"Shutup!" Abby laughed launching a spit ball at Jocelyn's face.

Soon all of us broke out in to a spitball fight. Yup, we're seven.

"Hey stop wait my phone is ringing!" I shouted as my phone began vibrating in my pocket.

The table went silent as I excepted the call.

"Hey good news, meet me at my place in 10.
