"That was a close call. I thought the bus already left. It's a good thing that the last bus haven't arrive yet," Yuki said to Hiyori as they reached the bus stop.

They're neighbors so they always go home together but sometimes whenever Yuki have her archery club, Hiyori goes home alone. But today is an exception.

"By the way, did you know that I caught my crush looking at me at the archery club!" Yuki exclaimed at Hiyori.

"Really? Are you sure?" Hiyori said with wide eyes. She couldn't believe her ears.

"I'm sure of it! I was like looking around when I saw him looking at my direction," Yuki replied with a giggle.

Hiyori frowned, confused. "Wait a minute. I thought you're a MANHATER?" She asked then gave her best friend a mischievous smile.

Yuki blushed. "I never said that I'm a manhater.." She said looking away, blushing.

"Really? I remembered you saying a year ago that you'll be a manhater after you broke up with your ex."

"I...I...I'm so sorry I lied!...Its just that, I don't want you to think bad of me..." Yuki said, feeling embarrassed.

"Why would I think of you like that?" Hiyori asked, laughing at Yuki's reddening face. "You're really cute, Yuki, do you know that?" She smiled at her best friend. Yuki blushed even more.

"Ugh, I hate it when you tease me like that!" Yuki turned away but stopped dead as she saw Kenichi. "Hey, is that Fujiro-kun?"

Hiyori's heart skipped a beat upon hearing his name again. Why do I react like this whenever I hear his name?, she thought angrily at herself.

"Where?" She asked as if there's no meaning behind it.

"There," Yuki pointed at the direction where the bus stop sign was placed and as Hiyo turned her face in that direction her heart squeezed as she saw their classmate, Shouri, grabbing a hold on Kenichi's arm and as a bus arrived, she then pulled him with her inside it.

"Hiyo, do you think that..." Yuki was about to finish her sentence when Hiyori spoke.

"Let's hurry before the bus leaves," she said as she grab a hold of Yuki's wrist and pulled her towards the bus where Kenichi and Shouri got on.

---

Hiyori have forgotten that Kenichi lives at the same apartment as her. So it was a shock for her that they were heading to the same direction.

"Hey," Yuki slightly poke Hiyori on the ribs with her elbow. "How come he's heading to our direction?"

Hiyori sighed before answering, "I forgot. He lives with his mom next to my apartment..."

Yuki's eyes widened. "What?" She hissed at her. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"Sorry, I forgot. It didn't came to my mind because a lot of things just happened recently...and uhmm...you can't just expect me to remember everything, like everything." Hiyo rolled her eyes.

"Sorry. Anyway, I won't be able to send you to your apartment okay? 'Cause my mom is waiting for me at the convenience store. She said she needed help with the groceries..." Yuki explained with an apologetic smile.

"It's okay, Yuki. I can manage," Hiyori said with a smile.

---

Hiyori waited for Kenichi to enter his apartment and then rushed to her door and opened it silently with a click.

"Hiyori-chan, sweetie? Are you home?" She heard her mom called out to her from the kitchen.

"Tadaima, Oka-san!" Hiyori replied back as she took off her school shoes and placed it next to the other pair of shoes below the elevated floor.

"You're home late," Her mom greeted her as she went out of the kitchen with an obento in her hand. Hiyo approached her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Sorry, Ma. I fainted and have to stay at the clinic."

"Why? Are you okay?" She asked looking all concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine now. Don't worry," she smiled at her mom.

"Oh yeah...Kenichi-kun and his mom just came back from the States this morning. I was all excited to meet my best friend so," her mom was talking about Kenichi's mother. "I visited her when you were in school and I made this for them. Please take this with you when you're done changing clothes," her mom showed her a 3-stack obento.

Upon hearing her Mom's request, Hiyori wanted to scream her heart out and tell her mom that she don't want to. But, her mouth betrayed her heart's will. "I already know that they came back. He's even my classmate...I'll change first then I'll give that to them."

---

Hiyori was having second thought if she's going to press the doorbell of Fujiro's apartment but she did it anyway.

Ding dong...

"I'll get it..." she heard Kenichi voiced out behind the closed door. Hiyori clutched on to the lunch box to her chest, heart beating fast than ever.

Gosh...why did I even agree on bringing this to them? She thought to herself with a deep sigh.

The door suddenly opened and Kenichi stood before her. Hiyori quickly looked away and said, "Here. This is for you and your mom..."

Kenichi smirked at her blushing face and took the lunch box from her.

"Kenichi-kun, who is it?" she heard his mom asked him.

"It's..." but before he could finish what he's about to say his mother, Seri Fujiro, came out from behind him.

"Oh, it's you Hiyori-chan! How are you? Come in," Seri took Hiyori's hand and pulled her inside before the young girl could even react.

"I need to go..."

"Don't go home just yet. Have dinner with us," Seri smiled at her. Hiyori couldn't just refuse.

"Thank you..." Hiyori just said without looking at Kenichi who just moved out to let them pass.
