Love That Will Last Forever

Ch. 12

Hiyori froze from where she stood. She knew that voice - know too well.

Hiyori quickly wiped away the tears from her eyes. I'm so stupid...why did I even...

"Do you still love me?" Kenichi repeated, his voice somewhat soft.

Hiyori looked up from her cellphone and her heart started to race.

"I...Don't you have practice?" she asked changing the subject, then looked away from him.

Kenichi didn't speak, but looked down at his feet.

"If you don't love me...then why are you looking at the photo and crying?" Kenichi asked after a moment of silence. They were still standing side by side by the bus stop sign, staring somewhere in front of them.

"Haha," she laughed without humor. "Its just the spur of the..."

Hiyori's words were stopped when suddenly Kenichi leaned down, took her chin with his thumb and forefinger, and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Get a room you guys!" Someone shouted in the background, some wolf-whistled, some teased...

Kenichi ignored them and continued kissing her, pulling her close as his hands wrapped around her waist.

Hiyori froze. Her eyes widened in surprise, she couldn't speak nor couldn't move. Her heart continued to beat madly and her face heated up.

She felt somewhat different.

She wanted to push him away, to shout at him but she never did all of those things because she's too weak to move. She felt light-headed. "W-why did you do th-that? A-aren't y-you dating Sakura-chan?" She stuttered as Kenichi let go of her.

Kenichi's hands fell on his sides, looking away from her. "Yori, there's nothing between us. I did that because..." He clenched his fist, thinking whether to explain the reason why he did that. "I..."

Hiyori looked at him and then suddenly her vision blurred...

"I feel somewhat dizzy..." She forced out and then fainted.

"Yori!" Hiyori heard Kenichi called out to her and felt him carry her before her vision totally blacked out.

Hiyori's eyes snapped open as she felt her head throb. Ugh, it hurts, she thought as she sat up from the bed.

What happened? All I could remember is Kenichi kissed me and then...

"Ahhhhh!" She shouted despite of her throbbing head, remembering what had happened earlier. Her face heated up.

"Geez, you're waking up the sleeping person..." A voice groaned.

Hiyori turned and saw Kenichi lying next to her, half naked, he was even yawning and stretching his arms as if she wasn't there.

"What the heck?! Why are you not wearing a shirt and why are you in my room?!" Hiyori shouted hysterically at him, taking the blanket with her and covered herself with it.

OMG! What happened?!.., she thought, her face blushed furiously and her heart beating faster than ever.

Hiyori heard him chuckle.

"You're not in your room, honey. Actually, its mine. You're in my room..." Kenichi said chuckling. "And to your question, I'm used to not wearing anything but since a girl's sleeping in my room I decided to keep my pants." He said as a matter-of-factly, chuckling softly.

Hiyori quickly toof off the blanket from her face, her eyes wide as she stare at Kenichi who was staring at her intensely. "You're not wearing anything when you sleep?!" She asked in a loud voice, blushing furiously.
