"Jessica, what does it feel like when you like a boy a lot?" I asked my older sister as we got a pedicure. She felt bad that we haven't gotten to spend a lot of time together lately, so we decided to have a girls day after my practice.

"Why?" She questioned.

"Just wondering." I replied.

"Well, you feel really nervous around him. Like, you don't want to embarrass yourself and you don't want anybody else to embarrass you." She began to explain. "And you always want to impress him. You feel like you have to get dressed up, just to hang out with him. You want to be with him all the time and you want to know everything about him. That's the best I can explain it."

"Hm." I said to myself. I don't really feel like that around Louis. Maybe I don't like him.

"Are you starting to like Louis?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"What? No!" I immediately shook my head. She narrowed her eyes at me. "Okay, yes." I finally gave in.

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica squealed, making several people give us disapproving glances. "He likes you too, Alex! This is perfect!"

"He likes me?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Are you really that oblivious?" She sighed. "He really, really likes you."

"How was I supposed to know?" I asked, holding my hands up in defense.

"Have you kissed yet?" She asked me.

"Uhm, once. But he kissed me on the cheek and stuff all the time." I answered.

"Aw, that's adorable." She gushed.

"Be quiet." I hit her arm playfully.

"So when are you gonna see him next?" Jess asked me. As if on cue, my phone vibrated with a text from him.

"He texted me." I told her. She pulled m phone from my grip and read the message before I could. She aww'd and gave it back to me.

'From: Louis

Hey love :) how was your day? xx'

"He's so sweet. I wish Brandon was British, that way he would call me love." She whined.

I rolled my eyes and answered Lou.

'To: Louis

Jessica and I are having a girls day, so pretty good. What about you? X'

"What do the x's mean?" I asked Jess. She shrugged.

"I don't know. Maybe it's a British people thing." She chuckled. Louis replied immediately.

'From: Louis

Mine was boringgg. Wanna go on a date with me Friday night? ;) xx'

"What'd he say?" Jessica asked eagerly, seeing that he texted me back.

"He wants to go on a date tomorrow night." I told her, trying to process it. I've never been on an actual date.

"Oh my gosh! Say yes! I'll help you get ready and everything!" She said excited. The lady who was painting her toes glared at her.

"Okay, okay." I laughed and wrote back to him.
