'From: Louis:)

Why did you just leave without telling me'

I frowned at the text. No question mark. No x's. No signature. No emotion.

'To: Louis:)

I left a note in the kitchen?'

"I think he's mad." I told Jess, biting my lip nervously. "I still don't know what to do when he goes on tour."

"We'll figure it out." Chan promised, coming back into the room with some chips. "And why do think he's mad?" My phone vibrated with another text on the screen. Jesse and Chandler both read the message with me.

'From: Louis:)

Yeah I found it but you could have looked for me or called me. I don't just leave without telling you, do I? So don't do that to me.'

"Oh hell no." Chandler muttered. "He cannot tell you what you can and can't do. Tell that motherfu- mother fudger off."

"I don't want to start a fight." I shook my head. My phone started ringing. A picture of me and Louis was his contact picture. It was our first date together. I was laughing and he snapped the picture unexpectedly. He had a goofy grin in the picture. It was adorable. "Hello?" I finally stopped admiring the picture and answered.

"Where are you?" He didn't bother greeting me.

"Chandler's house. I put that on the note, Louis." I said, putting my hand on my hip.

"Hell, would it have killed you to look for me before you left?" He huffed.

"I looked for you and I couldn't find you." I said, clenching my teeth so I didn't yell at him.

"I was in the office." He snapped.

"Doing what?" I asked rather loudly.

"Making a phone call!" He was yelling now.

"Look, I don't want to deal with this over the phone. I'll be home later. Don't wait up." I mumbled, about to hang up.

"Wait, please don't hang up." His tone wasn't loud and angry this time. He sounded frustrated and desperate.

"What?" I snapped harshly.

"Will you please come home soon?" He asked quietly. "The lads are here... But it's just not the same without you."

I ran my hands through my hair, that's gotten pretty long. "I'll be home in like an hour." I agreed

"An hour? You can't come sooner?" He asked.

"Two hours." I replied.

"Okay, an hour it is." He changed his mind quickly. "Do you need me to come get you? Harry drove you, didn't he?" He offered.

"I'll get Jesse to drive me." I declined his offer. Knowing him, we would come way earlier than expected.

"You sure?" He questioned.

"I'm positive." I sighed.

"Okay..." He trailed off sadly. "I'll see you later, I guess."

"I have to go, Louis." I lied. This phone call went wrong quickly.

"Oh, okay." He said. "I'll let you go. Love you. Bye." I hung up after he said that.

"He's so frustrating." I sighed.

"Okay, can you help me with that cheer now?" Chandler asked me desperately.

"Why are you so worried about this cheer? We don't cheer for basketball for like two weeks." I inquired.

"Because it's been bothering me." She explained.

"Well, lets work on it then."

-Louis's POV-

I heard somebody knock on the front door. I jumped up, hoping it was Alex. I opened the door and my face fell.

"Delivery for Miss Hayden." The Fed Ex man said, looking down at his clipboard. He handed me a box and held out the clipboard for me to sign. I thanked him and closed the door. What'd Alex order?

The box was thin. I brought it in the living room where the rest of the lads were. "Alex got a package." I told them.

"What is it?" Harry inquired. I shrugged. There was another knock at the door. I was sure it was Alex by this time. I opened the front door and saw Alex, plus Jesse and Chandler. Surprisingly, Alex hugged me.

"We can talk later. I don't want to fight in front of everybody." She whispered before releasing me.

"Uh... You got a package." I said, holding it out to her. We went in the living room and sat with everybody else.

"I think these are the homecoming pictures." Alex told her friends as she carefully opened the cardboard box. She had a couple pictures in her hand.

"Aw, that one's cute." Jesse said as she looked down at the photo. I was sitting next to her, so I could see the picture too. She was wearing a pretty mint green dress and standing on a (American) football field with some guy. They had their arms linked together. A crown was on her head and a sash around her. The sash said '2012 Homecoming Queen'.

"Homecoming Queen?" I inquired.

"Yep." She laughed. The next picture, she was in the same position, but laughing at something. "Oh, gosh. Tanner kept making me laugh."

"Tanner?" I asked.

"That's Tanner." She said, pointing at the boy standing next to her. "He was so nice."

"Yeah, it's a shame what happened." Chandler said sadly.

"What happened?" Niall questioned.

"People started rumors about me and him." Alex explained. "We just decided it would be best if we didn't talk or be together anymore."

"You ended your friendship because of rumors?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Basically." She nodded. I could tell she regrets it. "It's too bad him and Jesse never dated. He was adorable."

"Adorable?" I asked.

"Look at those dimples. That's adorable." She said, pointing at the laughing boy. He had dark brown, almost black wavy hair and tan skin. He had dimples and brown eyes. He was like a combination of Liam, Harry, and Zayn. He was a good bit taller than Alex.

"I have dimples." Harry spoke up.

"And you're adorable." She laughed.

"Dimples and curls always wins." Harry said to me.

"Pipe down, Styles." I swatted at him. Even if we're in a somewhat fight, he can't pretend like she likes him more. I'm her favorite, of course.

"So are we really gonna argue tonight? I'm tired." Alex yawned. She could barely stay awake.

"Go to sleep." I sighed, throwing her one of my t-shirts. She got off the bed and pulled her own shirt off.

"What? Are we this close now?" I asked, shielding my eyes.

"Night." She mumbled, crawling under the duvet.

"What?" I asked aloud.

"Silence, peasant." She said. I shook my head and got off the bed to turn the light out. I took my shirt and pants off, only in my boxers. I usually go to bed after her and wake up before her, so she doesn't know I sleep like this.

"Lou," she said tiredly, "this shirt smells like you."

"Well, it's my shirt, love." I chuckled, getting under the sheets. "Now go to sleep.
