"Alex, will you marry me?"

So that's why everybody was staring at me.

Wait, why is he proposing to me? We're in an arranged marriage. We have to get married anyway.

Holy fuck. That's a big ass diamond. Did he buy that? It's gonna like weigh my whole hand down. Oh my gosh. Look at all the littler diamonds!

Hm, shouldn't I answer him? How do I say it? Should I say something like 'of course' or should I be like 'I don't really have a choice'? Well, the second option would be really mean. I guess I should sound happy. We've been dating for like three days and he proposed to me. I think we broke a record.

ANSWER HIM, YOU IDIOT!

"Of course, Louis." I said, smiling. The whole restaurant clapped. I'm not kidding either. Like, they had a bunch of waiters standing by our table clapping. Louis grinned as he slid the ring onto my left hand. Thankfully, it didn't weigh a ton. Phew, I thought it would.

"Let us see it!" Chandler exclaimed as we sat back down after hugging. I held out my hand, showing them the new ring.

Whoa, I'm engaged. It just hit me. I've been engaged for like two weeks but I just realized it.

"I helped him pick it out." Harry winked at me.

"Does that mean you have a girl's fashion sense?" I teased him.

"No, that just means... Uhm..." He trailed off, not sure what to reply with, making me laugh.

"Wait, did everybody know about this?" I inquired. They all nodded, even Jesse and Chandler. Those bitches didn't tell me! Oh well.

"Do you like it?" Louis asked nervously.

"I love it! It's gorgeous." I told him, admiring how the diamonds sparkled in the light. Damn, Harry did good.

"I thought you were gonna say no. Then I would have been so embarrassed." Louis admitted. He seemed completely at ease now. He was nervous about that the whole time!

"Well, now we're officially stuck with each other forever." I chuckled. Louis shrugged.

"So what do you like to do in your free time, besides basketball?" Louis inquired as we sat on the porch swing late at night.

"I like softball and running track." I said.

"What else?" He questioned, since he already knew that.

"Hm, well, I like eating a whole pizza and then wondering why I'm still in triple digits on the scale." I said honestly. I weight 108 pounds and I'm 5'3".

"If you get any skinnier you'll disappear." Louis chuckled, poking at my ribs. I swatted his hand away. "So who's your favorite singer?" He questioned. I guess we're playing twenty questions now.

"Adam Levine." I said simply. "He's so hot. I've never seen another guy who can make flower tattoos look hot."

"Psh, I can make anything look hot." Louis said cockily.

"Except flower tattoos." I told him.

"So you're saying that I can make anything except flower tattoos look hot?" He smirked at me. I opened my mouth to reply, but I didn't have anything to say back.
