-Louis's POV-
"Baby, please come eat something. Talk to me, at least." I begged Alex. She won't do anything except lay in bed and cry. It's honestly breaking my heart. She won't talk or eat or even look up at me. I'm getting seriously worried about her. How long will it be until she'll talk to me again? Is she mad at me? Why is she letting all these rumors get to her? Usually she just ignores what people say to her. Why is this time different?
I was gonna go beat the hell out of a couple bastards, but my main priority is making sure Alex is okay. Chandler and Jesse volunteered to stay here with her, but I feel like I'd be a bad boyfriend if I just left her.
I sat on the bed next to Alex's shaking body and pulled her into my chest. She was sobbing. I wrapped my arms around her.
She immediately pushed away from me. Without looking me in the eye, she got off the bed and went in the bathroom. I sighed and leaned against the headboard. The shower could be heard from our room.
"What the hell did I do?" I spoke to myself out loud. I saw Jesse's head poke around the corner.
"What happened?" She inquired as she and Chandler came in.
"I don't even know." I ran my hands through my messy hair in frustration. "I just say down and hugged her. She jumped up and went in the bathroom without saying anything."
"She wants to be alone." Chandler told me. "Just give her time." Alex's ringtone came from her purse that was on the floor, contents strewn across the carpet since she threw it down in anger when she came inside.
"Should I answer it?" I asked, reaching for her phone. The caller ID said 'Jessica', her oldest sister.
"Yeah, probably." Jesse nodded. I hesitantly slid my finger across the screen, answering the call.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Louis?" Jessica questioned.
"Yeah, it's me." I replied, nodding even though she couldn't see me.
"Well," she paused, "maybe you can tell my why I overheard some kids in Alex's grade talking about her being pregnant."
"It's a lie." I said back. "They started shit, saying she's pregnant and that's why we're engaged and live together. They say she was at the hospital to get an abortion. It's bullshit."
"How is she taking it? And why are you answering her phone?" Jessica asked me.
"She's not taking it good." I answered sadly. "She won't talk or eat or anything. She's just crying. I tried to hug her and she just jumped up and went to the bathroom. She's in the shower right now."
"Oh my gosh." Jessica mumbled under her breath. "I'm coming over in a little while, okay?"
"Alright." I replied.
"Does Casey know?" She asked.
"I don't think so." I shook my head. Why am I nodding and stuff? She can't see me.
"I'll call him." She told me. "I'm about to leave, kay?"
"Alright. Jesse and Chandler are here too." I informed her.
"Okay, I'll see you then. Bye, Louis."
"Bye, Jessica." I said and hung up. "She's coming over." I told Jesse and Chandler. "And calling Casey."
"We should probably leave. Alex probably wouldn't like a big crowd around her." Chandler said, glancing at Jesse.
"Yeah, give me your phone." Jesse told me. I unlocked my phone and gave it to her. She typed for a minute and then handed it back to me. "I put my number, Chandler's, Jessica's, and Casey's in there. You have her parents number, right?" I nodded. "Okay, if either of you need anything just call us."

Jessica came in the front door with her phone pressed against her ear. She was talking to somebody and didn't sound happy. Her husband, Brandon, came in behind her. Jessica had light aqua scrubs on, like nurses wear. She must have just gotten off of work.
"This is a serious problem!" She exclaimed into the phone, trying to do so quietly. There was a short pause. "Dammit, you're a selfish bitch. I have to go." She said and hung up.
"Hailey." Brandon said.
"She's in New York with her boyfriend still." Jessica rolled her eyes. "She won't come back until February she said."
"The wedding's in January..." I trailed off, shocked that Hailey would miss her sister's wedding. Jessica rolled her eyes.
"She doesn't care about anybody but herself, obviously." Jessica scoffed. "Where's Alex?"
"In our room. Down the hallway on the left." I pointed her to the right direction.
"You've been treating her good, right?" Brandon asked me once Jessica was gone. I nervously nodded. "You better be. Because you'll have me and Casey to deal with if you don't."
"I am." I reassured him.
"Just scaring you." He chuckled. I sighed in relief. "But don't break her heart."
"I won't." I promised.
"So I was thinking we need to go knock a little bit of sense into some kids at school." He suggested.
"I was thinking the same." I nodded. "I've already gotten a few names and addresses."
"We can ask Alex if she has any specific people we need to mess around with." Brandon replied. I nodded, agreeing with him.
"Louis," Jessica called from the bedroom door. She gestured for me to come to her. I curiously did so. "She wants to talk to you. Don't pressure her, okay? She doesn't feel very good because her ribs are hurting from he wreck." Jessica explained. I nodded, taking in all the information.
I slowly opened the door and stuck my head in. She was sitting on the bed with some books laying out in front of her. "Alex?" I asked quietly. Her head snapped up and she bit her lip. I came in and sat down on my side of the bed. "Are your ribs hurting?" I asked.
"A little." She replied, her voice shaky.
"Did you take pain medicine?" I inquired. She nodded. "Is this all homework?"
"Studying for tomorrow." She answered numbly. I looked down at the chemistry book and didn't remember any of it. That was probably my worst subject.
"So do you have any guys that were bothering you in particular?" I asked cautiously.
"Why?" She didn't bother answering my question.
"Well," I paused, trying to phrase it, "Brandon and I thought it might be a good idea to go and beat them up."
"No." She said flatly. "That's bullying."
"No, it's called revenge." I shook my head.
"No, Louis." She shook her head. "Don't be as low as them."
"But I-"
"Don't." She cut me off.
"They deserve it-"
"Louis." Her voice was firm.
"Sorry." I said, hanging my head down. "Do you just wanna skip school tomorrow?"
"I have two tests..." She trailed off.
"You can make them up." I told her. "I demand that you stay home from school and spend the day with me."
"Yes sir." She giggled.
"So, why did you act so...weird when I tried to hug you?" I asked carefully.
"I just needed time to think. I didn't feel like being with or around people then." She admitted. "And it kinda hurt my ribs when you hugged me." She added with a small chuckle.
"I hurt you?" My eyes went wide. "Oh my God. I'm so sorry!"
"Calm down." She said, grabbing my hand. "I'm fine now."
"But I hurt-"
"Louis." She cut me off again.
"Sorry." I sighed.
