"Welcome home." Lou said as he unlocked the door to the apartment. I got out of the hospital after four long, boring days. I missed a basketball game and three practices. Plus I probably have tons of school work to do. So it's just great!
Instead of going home, Dad, Hannah, Mark, and Jay packed up all of my stuff and went and got an apartment for Louis and I. So now we're living together.
"It's so fancy in here." I mumbled, walking around the living room. It was modern with lots of white furniture than can stain very easily. My ribs still hurt pretty bad and the stitches in my arm get on my nerves. It hurts to sneeze, cough, laugh, or even barely get nudged in the ribs.
"Yeah." Louis agreed, going into another room. I followed him into what seemed to be the kitchen. It had granite countertops, a fancy stove, the works. I curiously opened another door and found the pantry, stocked with food. We made our way down a hallway and opened the first door. It was a very modern bedroom.
"I call this one." I said before he could and went to examine the rest of the room. There were three other doors and a balcony. I opened the first one and saw an attached bathroom that was huge. The second door was a closet with all of my clothes in it. Hm, I guess they chose this room for me. The third was a closet with... Louis's clothes? What the hell?
"Uhm, we have a slight problem." Lou said from behind me, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "There's only one bedroom."
"Oh my God. Are you serious?" I said, walking out of the first bedroom and back into the hallway. I opened the only other door and saw what looked like an office. "Dammit, Hannah." I groaned, pulling out my phone. I know she did this on purpose.
"Hello?" She answered after a couple rings.
"Hannah, are you serious? One bedroom?" I asked, putting my hand on my hip.
"Yes, I'm serious." She replied. "It'll give you and Louis more time to be together. But remember, wait until you get married to start a family." I hung up right when she said that.
"They're messed up people." I muttered, shaking my head. "You get one side of the bed and I get the other. And you stay on your side."
"Yes, ma'am." He nodded. "Which side do you want?" He asked me. I contemplated it and then decided on the one closer to the window. I don't like sleeping by doors. Don't ask why. I just don't. But the balcony door is also on my side. I would rather sleep in the middle, but we are halfing this bed and that's final.

"Oh my God." I muttered, making a mental note to kill myself later.
They left a chart telling me where all my clothes and stuff were in the dresser. I opened the one that was supposed to be pajamas. The tags had the Victoria's Secret logo. Everything was either slutty, see through, too tight, or all of the above. The material for everything was either lace or silk. It looked like lingerie instead of pajamas. That's probably what it was. I called Hannah once again to bitch at her.
"Hello?"
"Hannah, these are not pajamas! Who the hell sleeps in this stuff? Hookers?! I am not wearing this!" I whisper/yelled into the phone.
"Lots of girls your age wear that stuff, Alex." Hannah replied.
"Yeah, and lots of girls my age are sluts!" I exclaimed.
"That's the clothes your stuck with, dear. Have a good night!" She said cheerfully and hung up. I groaned and set my phone down on the dresser in frustration.
Louis came out of the bathroom, his hair slightly wet from his sheet that he just got out of.
"What did Hannah do this time?" He chuckled.
