Had Papa left these keys out on purpose?
As usual, I was pottering around his dim office, stuffed with outdated invoices, mysterious bills and other bric-a-brac. Whenever he left on an overseas journey, I tried my best to wait as long as possible to stay out, but in this event, curiosity got the better of me. Or maybe, I didn't care what the consequences would be. He had never explicitly said to stay away.
My impertinence aside, to which locks did these keys belong? I had inherited not only his tenacity, but also his impatience.
Where would I start looking?
