With Jilly smiling, I stride out of my quarters and raise an eyebrow at Askew, daring him to say anything. The hat -- more the color perched upon my head -- signifies I am done hiding. I am finished being scared or intimidated by the Society, myself, or anyone who cares to threaten my great nation. After all, I may have a jolly yellow hat on my head, but a strong sword sits at my side. And while the society matrons might question my choice, I am the Queen of England and I can do whatever the hell I want.
