I waited patiently, the noxious, cold water slipping first above my feet, then my calves. The work was dirty, but in the name of the Empress, it was worth it. In a matter of hours, the Queen of England would be captured. I fingered the talisman -- sent to all the high ranking officials in the Society. The golden hand of Hamsa granted us protection and gave promise to all that Excalibur might yield. Looking to the hired soldiers around me, I nodded - then proceeded to give final directions for what needed to be the kidnapping of the century.
