It took some pleading and scheming on my part, but I was finally able to work with the local tinkerer to fashion the device. While I knew many girls my age were meant to be embroidering, there had always been some idle voice in my head telling me to create.
Askew tried to point in me in any other direction, before ultimately acquiescing to my demands, reminding me to politely keep my interests to myself in polite company.
