"Please, you don't have to do this." I say as Alan throws the phone against a wall.

"Oh but I do. I can't just let you get away with sleeping with Alannah, she should have just left me if she wanted you so much." Alan grabs hold of my shirt and pulls me up so that I was standing face to face with him. He holds the sharpened knife at my neck. "I would say I'm sorry, but I'm really not."

I keep my eyes locked to Alan's making sure he can see me as he kills me, a grin grows on his face as he adds pressure onto the knife as it starts to split my skin. I try not to let the pain show through, I don't want to satisfy him.

Just as he starts to slice along my neck, getting dangerously close to my artery there's a bang from beside me. Alan's head flies back as a blank expression grows on his face. It takes me a moment to notice the bullet hole between his eyes as blood begins to flow from the bullet hole. The knife falls from his hand as he lifeless body falls to the floor.

"Looks like we got here just in time." The familiar Irish accent comes from behind me; I look back expecting to see Alannah but instead my eyes lock to Niamh.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, my mind racing to try and work out what was happening.

"Saving your life apparently." Niamh smiles, the cheeky glint in her eyes reminding me of Alannah.

"You could at least say thanks." Ryan says as he and Kieran burst into the kitchen. Ryan has a box in his hand but I don't really register it; my mind was still trying to work out what was going on.

"What's going on?" I ask, I could hear the confusion in my own voice getting a chuckle from Niamh.

"I told you that son of a bitch would get what was coming to him." Niamh says with a cheeky grin on her face as she walks towards me. She takes my face in her hand, pushing my head to the side to get a look at the cut from Alan's knife. "That needs stitches, and so does your leg. You went through all of this for my baby sister and my little niece or nephew, safe to say you have our approval." She smiles as she lets go of my face.

"I don't think I need the approval of a ghost and two terrorists." I snap back.

"Ex terrorists thank you very much." Kieran corrects me.

I look back to see him on the floor beside Alan's dead body fiddling with a box. "What's that?"

"It's a bomb." Ryan says calmly.

"Seriously what is it?" I ask again, not really in the mood for games.

"Seriously, it's a bomb." Ryan says once again, I look to Kieran who turns the box to show me a timer with two minutes on it.

"I thought you said you were ex terrorists." I say, my eyes locked to the bomb.

"We are, but we thought we would help clean up this piece of shite. But we should probably be getting out of here." Kieran states the blindly obvious.

"Come on hop along." Ryan jokes as he puts my arm around his neck and helps me out of the building and down the alleyway. We just make it into another abandoned building before the bang from the explosion hits us. "I kinda missed that?" Ryan laughs as he leans against a wall.

"Yeah, it's like old times back home." Kieran agrees.

"You know I'm not really buying this whole ex terrorists things, you just set of a bomb in DC, that's not really something normal people do." I snap.

"Don't dig too deeply into it kid, you'll only hurt Alannah if you do." Ryan warns me.

"We have to go Spencer, your team will be here soon. Just promise me something." Niamh says sweetly.
