Hail the land of the red white and blue
May the colors always fly true
The flag above us slowly waves
Stagnated by the idoled stains
Red of blood that has been spilled
Keeping this "freedom" from those who we've killed
Blue for the skies, tinged in ash
Viewed by the soldier who saw his last
And white as the backdrop, innocence stained
Never to be once again regained
Oh dear red white and blue
What have idiots done to you
Once a symbol of freedom and life
Has been ruined by pride and strife
The wind whips by, flag no longer free
Chained by pain and misery
Land of the free is land of the dead
Skewed by voices in our head
Oh America, oh land of the free
Built on blood and captivity
Dont you remember who you are
Before you had to go so far?

PoetryA collection of my poetry. there is no rhyme or reason between them, they are simply there because i wrote them and needed a place for them to go. i know, my grammar sucks. also, there will be updates whenever i write more poetry.
