We’re all destined to be ashes
And were built upon dust
We’re trapped inside a world
Driven by lust
We cry for love
But were given rejection
This entire world will accept
Are its tainted views of perfection
When in pain, being silent
Is what is expected
For if we cry out
We are considered defective
Disappointment waits
Behind every door
And when they all close
You’re alone once more
To thoughts that remind you
Of the failures of your past
And you begin to question
If your dice is pre-cast
And you’re destined to be
Alone and afraid
With no reason to
Stand up and be brave
Unable to believe
That you have something to give
And if it would be worth it
To try to live.

In My Head
PoetryA collection of my poetry. there is no rhyme or reason between them, they are simply there because i wrote them and needed a place for them to go. i know, my grammar sucks. also, there will be updates whenever i write more poetry.
