Behind closed doors
You don’t have to hide
You can scream “it's the truth!”
And then whisper “I lied”
Behind closed doors
You can be free
You can be naked or clothed
And no one will see
Behind closed doors
You're as free as the sky
No one sees if you laugh
No one sees if you cry
Behind closed doors
You can curl up and sigh
Cause no one can see
That you don’t want to try
Behind closed doors
You can feel all alone
In the middle of a full
Yet empty home
Behind closed doors
Black and white can turn gray
Hate and love blur together
Into a beautiful array
Behind closed doors
It's just your mind and you
And when with yourself you start to fight
What on earth will you do?
Behind closed doors
No one knows who you are
And they can never explain
Why your eyes seem so far
Behind closed doors
Is where the real you resides
Because when the door opens
It runs and it hides
Behind closed doors
Is a world all your own
With nothing of which that you
Will have to atone
Behind closed doors
That you built in your mind
Nothing can penetrate
That you don’t wish to find
Behind closed doors
No one knows exists
You isolate yourself inside
And wonder if you're missed.

In My Head
PoetryA collection of my poetry. there is no rhyme or reason between them, they are simply there because i wrote them and needed a place for them to go. i know, my grammar sucks. also, there will be updates whenever i write more poetry.
