Some people say
After another hard day
“I just want to rest, I feel like giving in.
To sleep and never wake up”
They believe that life is just too hard
They have been too marred
And don’t feel like struggling anymore.
I feel that way sometimes as well,
When life has turned to hell.
Then I realize something: the whole point of living
The reason to keep fighting on
Even if hope is gone
Is so that, when we do rest
We have done our best
And something to dream about.
