Your life is built on lies
And when I look into your eyes
I see a pain deep within
That could lead to your demise
You cry without a sound
They do not see you drown
You think that no one would mind
If you went away and couldn't be found
You’ve always been so strong
Despite every wrong
And though you say "I am ok"
You may break before long
I wish I could make it all right
To show you how to escape this night
But I am unable to do anything
But listen to your plight
It would be nice to know
There is something better to show
You someday soon when you are through
And from this world you go
But I don't know the truths
They muddle with lies and become loose
Maybe I’m wrong, and maybe they are
But I know I will be here for you
