*Emma's POV *
I have my stupid freshman orientation for college today. I was so glad to be out of the foster system... and jail. I'd moved across the country to get away from all that, and I was just hoping college would help me put all of it behind me.
I had my hands full of stuff as I started to move into my dorm when I slammed into someone. I fell flat on my ass, dropping everything.
"Fuck," I sighed, sitting up on my knees to gather my things. "I'm so sorry, I didn't even..." I looked up into ridiculously blue eyes and got quieter. "See you..."
"Don't worry about it, love," he smirked, making my face go red as he helped me with my stuff. "I wasn't looking either. Where were you headed?"
I was completely lost in his eyes. He was tall and muscular, his hair nearly black and his eyebrow cocked. He radiated confidence and cockiness, but I could see a goofy glint in his eyes.
"I'm was just," I tried to clear the awkward tremble out of my voice, nodding towards the building a few yards away. "Moving into my new dorm."
"Would you like some help?" He offered as we stood back up. "I just finished moving into the third floor of that building, so I can probably help you find your room if you like."
"That'd be great," I smiled a little, pushing away my urge to turn and run. "I'm in room 216. I think it's the second floor."
Just under an hour later, we'd finished bringing all my stuff into my room. My roommate wasn't there yet, so it was pretty quiet, and there was still a few hours until orientation.
"So, do you have a name?" He smirked, making my heart skip a beat as he flopped on the sofa. "Or would you prefer I keep calling you love?"
"It's Emma," I laughed a little, sitting next to him. "Emma Swan. And who exactly are you?"
"Killian Jones," he shook my hand, the contact making my stomach twist. "Nice to meet you, Swan. Can I interest you in some lunch before orientation?"
"Uhm," my mouth went dry and I tried to swallow. "Sure. You mind if I get cleaned up first? I'm kind of gross from moving and stuff. Half an hour?"
"It's a date," he winked, kissing my cheek before walking out the door.
"Oh shit," I groaned as I got up to shower. "I'm so screwed and it's only the first day."
*Killian's POV *
I had half an hour to stand outside her door. I saw her face every time I closed my eyes, her shy laugh still ringing in my ears. Emma Swan was going to be the death of me and I met her an hour ago.
Just an intro to see how people will respond! Please let me know what you think and if I should continue! Thanks lovelies!
