"Stop stressing babe" Miley Cyrus said, clutching Niall Horan's hand. He was still worrying about her after she had been attacked by Ariana Grande. "I can't. It's all my fault. I should have been watching your back. If I had, you would have been fine" he said, voicing his frustrations. Miley laughed at him softly. "I like that you're so protective" she said, snuggling into him as they packed up their tent and began to look for different shelter. They moved every day or so – making it hard for anybody to keep track of them. "I should have killed her" He kept saying. He still couldn't get over the fact that he had let her go. At the time, all he had wanted to do was to make sure that Miley was alright. But now she was, all he wanted to do was get revenge. "She's dead Niall, remember?" Miley said, drawing his attention back to the night when they had seen her face light up for sky. She had been killed, and it had had nothing to do with either one of them. "Are you sure you're up for moving again? You still have that bump on your head" he said, overthinking. "Niall. My head is fine. I am fine. You are fine. We are fine. Everything is going to be fine" she said, kissing him softly. He smiled, hugging her. "What did I do to get such an amazing girlfriend?" he asked, causing Miley to laugh into his chest. "Fiancée remember?" she said softly.
As they packed up the last of their things, Miley noticed a silver parachute coming towards them. "Look" she said softly, pointing at it. Niall turned to where she was pointing, and grabbed the parachute before they lost it. "Do you think it's from our parents?" she asked. Niall didn't answer as he tipped out the contents. Inside the parachute were two rings and a note. "Rings? Why would they send us rings?" Miley asked, taking them from Niall as he read the note. He smiled to himself. "What is it?" she asked, still glaring at the rings that had been sent. "It's a wedding speech" he said, sounding shocked. "What, as in: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today blah blah blah?" she asked, sounding as shocked and confused as he did. "Yeah. Along with a note from your dad. It says 'If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right'" he read. "Niall, when you asked me to marry you, did you mean it?" Miley asked cautiously. She knew that Niall loved her, but she didn't want him to be forced into something that he had only said because he was scared or because he thought he had to. Niall took Miley's hands. "Miley, I never would have asked you to marry me if I didn't mean it. I want to marry you" he said defiantly. "Now?" she questioned, eyeing the wedding speech that her father had sent them. Niall laughed at her. "We don't have a priest – or any witnesses" he said, rolling his eyes as if this were obvious. "It doesn't need to be a proper, official wedding. It only needs to mean something to us" she reasoned. He shook his head and smiled, thinking about how much this meant to her.
They held the piece of paper in front of them, taking it in turns to read the words that would unite them forever.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here today to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony" Miley began excitedly.
"This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before we knew love, we were friends, and it was from this friendship that is our destiny" Niall continued, remembering how they first got together, and thanking God that she had chosen him, all that time ago. That she wanted to spend her days with him.
"Do you Niall take me Miley to be your wife? Will you love me, comfort me, honour and keep me, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon me your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto me as long as we both shall live?" Miley asked, reading from the script. She already knew what his answer would be, but she was excited to hear it nonetheless.
"I will" Niall said before repeating the lines back to her.
"Do you Miley take me Niall to be your husband? Will you love me, comfort me, honour and keep me, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon me your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto me as long as you both shall live?"
"Of course I will" Miley said. They then took the rings that Miley's father had sent for them and placed them on each other's ring fingers.
May these rings be blessed as the symbol of this affectionate unity. These two lives are now joined in one unbroken circle. Wherever they go – may they always return to one another. May these two find in each other the love for which all men and women yearn. You may now kiss the bride.
And with that, they kissed. And they were married.
Nathan Sykes and Taylor Lautner were getting antsy. They hadn't made a kill for a really long time, and as much as they hated to admit it, they just wanted this process to be over. People weren't dying nearly as quickly as they should. "I need to kill someone. I can't take this anymore. We're going to be here forever if we don't do something" Nathan said, looking into bushes for someone hidden. "Well what can we do? There's no one here" Taylor reasoned, keeping his eyes on the trees above. This was where most people would be hidden. "There are. We just need to be smart enough to look for them" Nathan said, as he saw something out of the corner of his eyes. "Was that a parachute?" he asked Taylor excitedly, moving towards the shape. "Why does it matter?" Taylor asked, ignoring Nathan's enthusiasm. "Because, if it is a parachute, it's likely to have some form of weapon or something in it. That's exactly what we need" he asked, beginning to run after it. "But it's not ours" Taylor said, jogging to keep up with him. Nathan rolled his eyes as if to say: who cares. As they got closer to where the parachute had landed, they heard voices. "Get down!" Taylor hissed, pulling Nathan down so that they were hidden by a bush. "What are they doing?" Nathan whispered, confused. Taylor took a closer look. "They have rings in their hands?" he guessed. "What have they done with the parachute?" Nathan asked. Taylor shrugged. As they both listened, they could make out familiar words. "They're getting married" Nathan said softly. "It's sweet" Taylor commented, half-smiling. "Ok, so let's wait 'til they're done and then get the weapon" Nathan said, scoffing at Taylor's last comment. As they kissed, Nathan slowly stood up from his crouching position, grabbed a knife and walked towards them. As he approached them, he grabbed Miley by her hair and held the knife on her neck. "Give it to me" he said to them. "Give what to you?" Niall asked, dropping the note and holding his hands up. "The weapon. It came here in the parachute, where is it?" he asked a bit louder. "We don't know what you're talking about. There was no weapon in the parachute. Only these rings" Niall said, pointing to his own ring. "Give it to me now or I'll kill her" Nathan said, sounding menacing. "There's nothing to give" Niall shouted. "Fine" Nathan said, pushing the knife into Miley's neck. "No!" Niall shouted, lunging at him. Then he heard a gunshot, and felt a pain in his chest. He looked back just in time to see Taylor come out from behind the bushes before everything went black. Nathan took the knife out of Miley's neck and stabbed her in the chest, before wiping the knife clean on her shirt. "Let's get out of here" he said to Taylor, grabbing Niall and Miley's tent and whatever they had managed to get hold of. "What about the weapon?" Taylor asked. Nathan shook his head. "They never had one, I must have been wrong" he shrugged, leaving the scene before anyone else came. Taylor sank to his feet. He hated what they Game was turning him into. "I'm sorry" he whispered to the bodies, closing their eyes and putting their hands together. That way, they'd always be together.
