I planted my face in the palm of my hand. "I swear Draeci put us in a loophole." I said honestly. Storm sighed, and Camilla cracked her knuckles.

"Did this mirror even exist? I've never heard of the Avidity Glass before now..." Camilla admitted. "To be honest, I don't trust her. It just doesn't add up, the facts of it. I mean, yes, Master Sayakawa of Dark Unicorn could have it. But if not, the truth is, no family in Fiore would have an heirloom like that. We would have heard about it by now..."

"Wow, Millie, I didn't think you were that knowledgeable." Storm said. I snickered as Camilla gave him a death glare.

I nodded. "It doesn't add up, you're right about that. Maybe we could go back to Dark Unicorn and ask nicely?"

Storm cackled. "You really are new at this mission stuff." Camilla giggled.

"Sorry, it's only the sensible thing to do..." I mumbled, but they both ignored me.

"We need to go back and question them about this damn heirloom Dark Unicorn supposedly stole." Camilla said. "That thing brings nothing but misfortune, only feeding on to the greed that family already possesses." She began to walk away, Storm following obediently like a puppy.

As I followed them, I realized we were going towards the Unicorn guild again. I didn't want to fight... I had no magic skills yet that I could control... We should just be in, and out, go home, and get paid. Why do people do this for a living?

Camilla led the way, pushing open the guild doors confidently.

The Guild Hall was quiet, all eyes locked on us. She stomped down the aisle, requipping to her mother's Armadura Fairy Armour. I had no idea she inherited the Requip from her mother. Camilla wore a large, pink, spiky armour I'd never seen before.

"We know you have the mirror!" She shouted, the Guild Hall echoing her voice, making it seem like hundreds of Camillas were speaking at once. "Return it or we will have to destroy this entire Guild to take it from you!"

The Master's doors flew open. Hudson stepped out. "You three are kids. You couldn't even beat me, a single Guild Master, in three-against-one. And if you could, even, you'd never find the mirror." Sayakawa said calmly.

Storm scoffed. "I bet we could!" He summoned a glob of ice in his hand.

I stepped over to him. "Don't make bets we're sure to lose," I whispered pessimistically. I know it wasn't helping at all, but I was serious. We, a trio of teenagers, couldn't beat an adult wizard. A Guild Master, nonetheless."

Before the three of us could say anything, Sayakawa stepped Sayakawa stepped forward. "I accept." He said coolly. The lighting in the Guild Hall, already dim, burned out. In the pitch black darkness, a single glow of a golden yellow erupted from where he had been standing.

"Let's begin."
