Down to Two

"You know, we still have a mission to do," Storm pointed out to Camilla and I, as we sat at a table in the guild hall. Erza and Jellal were catching up in the front of the room, so we were left alone.

Camilla clicked her tongue. "You know, your right about that... Sorry I got distracted and threw our whole mission off coarse..." The usually aggressive girl blushed, surprising me and Storm both.

"It's okay," I condoled her. "If I had found my long lost father after over 10 years... no doubt that would distract anyone, Camilla. Don't be too hard on yourself about that part." She smiled at me.

Storm sighed. "I figure Jellal had something to do with it." Camilla inhaled sharply, and held her breath there. "Sorry," Storm apologized. "But he was in the Dark Unicorn guild when we went to search there."

"What have we gotten ourselves into...?" Camilla slammed her head down on to the table with a thump. "How are we supposed to explain to Dark Unicorn that Hudson Sayakawa's name is only a persona? And how the hell are we going to find the Avidity Glass when my mind is so filled with emotion it feels like it's about to explode! Ugh... I have a headache..." Camilla massaged her temple with her forefingers.

Storm smiled at Camilla. "How about Nashi and I take on this mission?"

I blushed. "W-What?"

"Yeah!" Storm said enthusiastically. "Camilla is going through some emotional predicaments," I gave him kudos for using those long words. "so why can't the two of us finish the mission? We can find the Avidity Glass together, if you don't mind of course." He mouthed the word, 'please' to me, and I smiled. I can't say no.

"Fine!" I gasped dramatically. Camilla looked as if she was going to go unconscious. "Thanks, guys... I need to go speak with my mother... I wish you luck... goodbye..." She tumbled away from the table, and quickly, the twins Huojin and Pythios helped her walk over to Erza (though I think it's because they both liked her).

"Are you ready, Nashi?" Storm asked me.

"This can't be too hard," I said optimistically. "But go easy on me."

Storm smiled, grabbing my hand. I blushed. "Let's go get that Avidity Glass!"
