Hudson Sayakawa

The three of us walked towards the Dark Unicorn Guild Hall. I'd never heard of that Guild before. Only the common ones: Sabertooth, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Fairy Tail, of course. But Camilla had heard of Dark Unicorn before. Apparently, they had a leader named Hudson Sayakawa. I've never heard of him before now.

"Sayakawa helped form the Oracion Seis, but soon after was thrown out when they realized his Dragon Slayer magic was just from one of those implants." Camilla explained.

"He's a Dragon Slayer?" I asked, remembering my father was one as well.

"Yes. Sayakawa was a Earth Dragon Slayer. He could use the elements found on our planet to slay dragons." She continued.

Storm was biting his fingernails. I slapped his hand to stop him. "Storm, did you hear that? We're going up against a dragon slayer!" I got his attention. He gasped.

"Really? Dad said he used to fight Natsu... but he wasn't that tough. I doubt Sayakawa will be any different." He shrugged.

"Don't underestimate Dragon Slayers," I said to him. "They can be stronger than you think."

Camilla tapped my shoulder, and I looked up. In front of us, the Dark Unicorn Guild Hall. It was black, the shingles and door a grape purple. Not a speck of light colour on the building. It looked like a colour a nightmare would be.

"You first." Storm said, shocked.

I stepped forward, opening the big, creaky doors. For a split second, seeing the inside of the Guild Hall, it was busy. All the members were playing cards or duelling with their magic. But as soon as I went inside, everything went dead silent.

I felt Storm grab my hand as I walked forward. I heard snickering. A little Dark Unicorn girl ran past me, her dark amber hair flowing behind her. Even she was laughing at me. My pinkish outfit was really standing out against the dim-lit hall of this Guild.

"Um..." My voice cracked, and Storm squeezed my hand. "Where can I find Master Sayakawa?"

The little girl from earlier walked up to me. She looked like she was about the age of 10, at most. "Why should we tell you?"

"It's very important. We are from the Fairy Tail Guild." I let go of Storm's hand and crouched down to her size. The girl laughed. She turned and ran away, giggling hysterically, and opened a set of dark doors.

The doors opened, and a man, about six foot one with the blue hair, stepped out. His face was covered by a cloak, unable to be seen by me, Camilla or Storm.

"I see you've met Hideki." The man said, in a low voice.

"Are you Hudson?" My voice wavered.

He didn't answer my question. "Why are you here?"

Storm stepped in front me. "We seek the Avidity Glass. And, we've been told you have it."

He laughed. "Where'd you come from?"

Hideki, who I assume was the little girl, ran up to him. "They came from Fairy Tail." She said.

The man laughed, cackling like a maniac. "I have no idea what this Avidity Glass is that your talking about, Fairy Tail wizards." He smirked. "Now please leave. I have work to do." He left without another word, leaving us standing there.

Hideki ran off, following him.

Storm had a confused look on his face. "I-- wha--- I know you have it!" He shouted. Laughter broke out in the Guild Hall, and Storm blushed embarrassedly. He bowed his head and shielded his face, running out of the hall. Camilla stomped her foot. "You coward! You call yourself a Guild Master!" She turned and left, and I followed. There was no way we were going to get that mirror back...

When we were outside, Storm held his hand over his face. "I looked like a fool..." He said through clenched teeth.

"It's okay." Camilla frowned. "That guy was a coward. If he really wanted to prove himself a good leader, he'd admit that he had the Avidity Glass. It's obvious he has it, anyway! That's why he denied it!" She punched a nearby tree.

"We'll get the mirror somehow." I said optimistically. "I wonder who that guy was. I've never seen him before in my life. He had to be Hudson. He seemed a bit too suspicious not to be."

Storm had calmed down, his embarrassment turned to anger, the ice on his hands melted to water. "We need to get that damn mirror!"
