This was it. This was the secret I've been longing to hear for over a month now. And he was right, it had been tearing up our team. It has been mostly my fault.. I admit now that I've been overreacting over everything that's happened between Storm, Camilla and I. But it's important.
"Y-Yes?" I stuttered. My hands were twitching in nervousness.
I felt like Storm was holding on to the silence just to bother me. He didn't say anything, and I frowned. "Spit it out already! You're not helping our situation!"
Camilla snickered. "Ha. Okay, Storm, tell her."
"Okay..." Storm gulped. Was it really that serious of a situation? If he hid it for so long and reacted this way when I wanted to know about it... "Nashi... someone's after you."
"What do you mean?" I asked. My nerves were building up.
Camilla put her hands on her hips. "Nash, he means someone is hunting you down and trying to kill you." Storm punched her shoulder. "Way to be subtle, Millie."
This news took me by surprise. I mean, we've all been through some crazy things ever since I joined this guild, but it shocked me nonetheless. "What the hell... who is it?"
"That's the thing, we don't know." Storm sighed.
"Then how do you know someone's after me!?"
"We've received threats on your life."
"Why didn't you tell me!?"
"We didn't want you to worry."
"But I'd rather know than not!"
My voice raised as did my temper. Who the hell is trying to kill me, and why would they want to... what did I do? I clenched my fists and tried to calm myself. "Okay, so how bad were the threats?" I finally asked. "If they weren't serious, then you shouldn't worry about me."
Camilla sighed. "Well, you see... we've received notes before, and occasionally we've received warnings from people. Like once, on the streets, someone pulled me over and asked me if I knew you. I asked why, and they simply said, 'I suggest you watch your back from now on'."
"Oh..." I tilted my head downwards. Why were people after me...? What did I do? This worried me so much. Even worse, we knew nothing about the suspect. "You know what, you guys should have told me so I could handle this, you imbeciles!" I shouted at Camilla and Storm.
"We're going to help you." Camilla said firmly.
"Yeah, there's no way you'll stop us from that." Storm pitched in.
I sighed. "N-No! This is my problem."
"You're making this cliché, Nashi, just take our help and go." Camilla smiled.
"Fine." I crossed my arms. "Hey guys, to take my mind off this and all... haha... let's go on a job."
The three of us went over to the request board. Once again, there wasn't much in the way of interesting jobs. I saw one that was a freaking request for a wizard who can do tricks at a birthday party! I snickered. Who would even take that job? Ha!
"Hey, I found one that looks interesting." Storm said aloud, yanking a paper from the bulletin board. "Here, read it." He handed it to me.
Wizards Wanted~
We need wizards to hunt down someone in Crocus City, it is crucial that we hunt him down. Will pay 1,000,000 Jewel for their capture!
~Anonymous
"Why doesn't it say the name of the provider?" Camilla mumbled as she read the flier herself.
"Who cares!?" Storm whooped happily. "It pays 1,000,000 Jewel! Let's go!" He grabbed my wrist and began to drag me to the door, and I grabbed Camilla's and carried her along as well. I heard Mirajane lightly chuckle as she saw us back as a team. I admit I'm happy too.
"Let go of me, you idiot." I giggled and pulled my arm away. "So, how about we take the train again?"
"Um... again?" Camilla asked.
"Oh, I went to the Crocus stop with Pythios and Huojin when I was on their team." We went to the bus stop and boarded the bus to Crocus, the Capitol of Fiore.
We'll do fine on this job. We're a team again.

"Now arriving in Crocus, the blooming capitol of Fiore."
I yawned as I got off the bus. We had been on for over an hour, but we were finally at our destination. "The provider of the job request never gave any information to find the person we were hunting down... and this entire thing might be pointless if the person we're hunting isn't, you know, evil or bad."
"You have a point there. But we have to go along with it, up until we know the truth." Camilla pitched in.
"Let's go think about all this. I found a great restaurant we can go to." Storm suggested. Nobody disagreed, so we went along with it.
We all went to a small restaurant called simply Kim's and went inside. We ordered coffee, but Storm got tea because he hated coffee for some reason. As we sipped at our drinks, we discussed our mission.
"So we know he's in Crocus somewhere... and that's really it." Camilla analysed as she pulled out her flier that she had been holding on to. "I'm going to assume he or she's maybe a spy or assassin, or even just someone who got into trouble by being nosy. Not sure."
"Well I think it's safe to assume that the king has something to do with it." I pitched in. "We are in the capitol, after all."
Our discoveries and comments soon became rants the longer we sat there. At some point during our session, I got up to go order some food. "I'll take the soup, please." I smiled at the waitress, and sat on one of the stools at the counter.
What the heck?
I felt something whiz past my ear, and when I lifted up my hand to feel it, I flinched. My hand was covered in blood from my earlobe, which had a cut in it. "Wha---?" I looked around, shocked. My eyes caught sight on something sticking from the wall; a small dagger...
The waitress returned. "Here's your soup, ma'am... Excuse me? Your ear seems to have a cut in it. Do you need assistance?" She asked.
"N-No, it's fine." I replied, hurriedly grabbing my soup and walking back to my table.
I nervously ate, my hands shaking as I brought the food up to my mouth. Storm seemed to have noticed, because he tapped me on the shoulder. "Hey, Nashi? You alright over there? You se-- hey, your ear's bleeding... what happened?"
"It's nothing!" I moved my hair over my ear.
"No, it's not. What's going on?" He sternly ordered me to answer.
"Um... someone just took a shot at me. I think it was the person we're after..." I said quietly. "But probably not! Yeah! No, It's not..."
"Where are they!?" Storm got up from his chair, looking around the cafe for the culprit. "What did they look like, Nashi?"
"I didn't get a good look." I admitted.
"Whatever. We are going to find them. Nobody should ever take a shot at your life. They are going to get it! You're safe, Nashi!" Storm said, trying to sound brave. Camilla snickered from her seat.
I laughed quietly. "It's no big deal..."
But now my nerves were on end, thinking of what would have happened if the dagger hadn't missed.
