|Mark's POV
I walked inside the house to see Madi laying on the couch with her big purple blanket wrapped around her. She was starring at the tv, although it wasn't on. I lifted her legs, sat down, and then placed her legs on top of mine.
"I see you're still upset about the whole Bryce thing," I said and looked down at her phone as it lit up. The unopened text messages from Bryce were blowing up her phone. I leaned over and turned it off.
"Yeah, no shit." She said and sat up. She rubbed her face and closed her eyes. "I honestly can't believe I fell for him."
"Hey, Bryce is a great guy. I mean, I never expected that he would cheat. But I don't blame you, if I were a girl I'd be drooling over him." I laughed weakly, trying to lighten the mood.
"Mark, I told him things I've never told Haillie or my mom, and you know I tell them everything. I told him everything that went on with my dad. I was seriously so in love with him, I was oblivious to the real world. He never failed to make me happy when I was at my saddest points. I know the relationship lasted only about 3 weeks, but I don't see myself moving on from him anytime soon. He was different, special. God, why did I fall in love so quick?"
I didn't reply, I hugged her. I hugged her as tight as the first day we met when we were 5. I never knew she felt this way about him. She was hurting, and I didn't see it until now. We sat in our hug for what felt like 5 minutes until I finally decided to speak up.
"Ill talk to him, and Ill tell him everything you just told me. He needs to know how you truly feel, how much he hurt you. After soccer tomorrow, ill go over and talk to him."
"Mark you don't need to d-" She began to say, but I cut her off by saying I wanted to. Madi then suggested that we watch movies and get ice cream, which I was completely down for.
She leaned her head against my shoulder as we began watching WhipLash.
"Thank you, Mark. I love you."
"I love you too, Madi."

Short chapter, 100000 feels. But I will have another chapter in Mark's pov next. Should I do more of his povs? A Haillie and Mark chapter is well needed.
