(Cas' POV)

I started at college that's a couple hours away from home and Dean is here with me. We share an apartment. He may not be taking a lot of classes like me, and working as hard, but at least we are together. He's going to the school part time and I'm a full time student. So, I'm usually pretty crazily busy with school work, and he's actually mostly busy with a job he found. The only time we have together is in the evening and until we both go our separate ways in the morning until the evening again.

Dean and I have gotten in an argument before about how little of time we've been getting with each other, but the fight wasn't long.

"As long as we are together, then that's all that matters right?" He had said to me. "I don't want to lose you ever again."

And that's pretty much how our arguments get settled now, we remind each other and ourselves that we don't want to lose the other. After everything that happened to us in the past, we don't want to repeat any of those mistakes.

Being with Dean every night though, keeps my hope strong. The hope of us being together forever.

That's all I really want in life.. Is to always have Dean with me, by my side, holding my hand.. That's all I want... I love him. I love Dean Winchester with everything I've got. He means everything to me.

*2 years later - Third year of college started*

Halfway through college now. Dean got an associates degree so he doesn't want to do anything more so he's just working now. I'm busting my ass off to make sure I keep my grades at A's and B's because anything lower isn't going to do me any good. I don't know if I can survive another year here though. I might just find a job and dropout.

No I can't do that. My mom wouldn't be proud of me anymore. I don't want that. All I ever want is to make my mother proud of me.

Dean arrived back to our apartment later than usual, and he stumbled through the door, looking pretty upset.

"Dean?" I said quietly, walking near him.

He only grumbled and ignored me, sloppily walking to the kitchen.

I followed behind him, "Dean, are you drunk!?" Now I was a little angry. He was driving, and drunk.. God dammit Dean.

Dean didn't answer my question, instead he said something else, "We got any beers left?" He asked as he opened the fridge.

I scowled at him, "Dean you don't need any beers, you're already drunk!" I stood only a couple feet away from him.

He rolled his eyes and looked in the fridge, but he wasn't going to find anything. I hadn't had the chance to go get some beer since we ran out the other day. Plus it's the middle of the week, I thought we would be fine until the weekend.

He angrily closed the fridge and looked at me, "Why haven't you gotten any beer yet!?"

"Dean it's Wednesday! You shouldn't be drinking!" My tone full of anger.

"Cas, I can drink whenever the hell I want! You can't-" he started off telling but then the whole expression in his face changed and he stepped back, his back hitting the cabinets and he slid down to the ground, now in years.
