Chapter 6 - Forgive me

(Dean's POV)

*Saturday*

I haven't talked to Cas since Monday, and it hurts.

Him and Charlie were pretty mad at me, and I don't blame them. I was a huge ass to him. But I had to be because he needed to just forget me. I kinda miss him though. I got attached too quickly. I don't know how he got me to fall for him like that, but he did. I fell hard. And now I have to fall out of it. It's going to be hard considering I see him 3 times a day, and his little brother is dating my little brother,, which I'm helping him hide from dad..

"Dean?" I hear Sam knock on my ajar bedroom door.

I have just been laying here most the day, it's late afternoon now. About 3pm. I didn't want to go out or do anything. My dad has gotten suspicious but I lie and tell him I'm just sick.

"What?" I reply back.

He opens the door more and walks in. "Dad wants to talk to us. So.. Come downstairs."

I nod and follow him out and downstairs to see my dad sitting at the kitchen table. Sam and I sit join him, and I ask what he wants to tell us.

"Well you two, I have another job I have to do."

Great. That means we have to pack up and move once again.

"Where are we going this time?" Sam asks.

"Colorado..."

That's not that far..

"But it's just me this time." Dad says.

"Wait what?" I ask. What the? Just him???

"Yeah, I'm not dragging you boys along this time. You're staying here, and I'm gonna go there."

"How long will you be gone?" I ask.

"Could be a while. Because I might go somewhere else from there, and go around. But I'm leaving you and Sam here so you can finish growing up in one place. Dean, I trust that you can look after Sam for me. And yourself okay? I know I haven't always been here for you two, and I'm not on your most popular list, but I love you guys. And I'm sorry for always moving around so much. But you don't have to worry about it anymore. I'll call when Im coming back here. But if anything happens, any emergency, call me, and I'll head right back here as soon as I can."

Sam and I just sat there in silence because we had no idea what to say.

"Can I trust you guys to survive on your own?"

Sam and I wait a second before nodding.

"Good. There's money I will leave for you guys, and I'll send money too."

After dad explains the rules, and all that jazz, he packs some of this things before getting into his old car. When I became old enough to drive, he gave me his impala. It was probably the best present ever. I've always admired that car, so I was the happiest ever when he gave it to me. Didn't like how he had to go buy a new old car but at least I got the impala. My baby now. He says his goodbyes to us and then is on his way.

When Sam and I go back inside, I start thinking about Cas.
As if he could read my mind, Sam asks "will you make up with Cas now?"

"He won't want to talk to me."

"Come on, please? I want you happy. I know dad said he doesn't want you to talk to Castiel because he's against gays, but he's gone now. And he could be gone for quite a while. Why not try to work it out with him?"

"What's his address?" I ask since Sam goes to Gabes a lot.

When i get there, an older boy answers the door.

"Hey um, is Cas around?" I ask him.

"Yeah, he's up in his room. You can go up there. It's the last door on the left." He opens the door to let me in and shows me to the stairs.

"Thank you."

I make my way up the stairs and down the hallway. I knock at the last door on the left.

"Yeah?" I hear Cas call out. "The doors open!"

I reach for the door handle and the second I touch it, my stomach does a flip because I get so nervous.
When I step in his room, he's laying on his bed staring up at the ceiling.

His room consisted of a wooden desk against the wall on the right, a big purple bean bag chair tossed in the corner by his bed, blue walls, a big queen sized bed that had green sheets, some clothes tossed around, a TV, and 2 art posters. It was nice.

"Hey.." I say nervously, my voice a bit shaky.

When he looks up at me, the expression on his face changes from sad to shocked.

"What are you doing here!?" He says loudly.

"Cas I wanted to talk.. I need to ell you the truth."

"The truth? Did you lie to me??"

"No, I just didn't tell you the whole truth."

When he finally lets me explain, I sit on the bed and tell him everything. Lisa was a rebound, he wasn't a fling, my dad didn't want me around him at all, we were originally suppose to leave again but not anymore.

Cas didn't say anything and the silence felt too long.

"I miss you, Cas..." I look down.

"I miss you too, Dean..." He looks down, frowning.

"I'm sorry Cas, I really am." I look at him, and he looks at me.

"it's okay, Dean."

I look into his eyes and say, "but it really isn't." I grab his hand. "Cas how can I fix things? Please tell me how I can make it better. I didn't want to hurt you, I'm sorry." I want to cry because I'm afraid he'll push me away, and I hate the fact I was an ass to him.

"I don't know Dean.."

"Please Cas please!!! I want to make it right oh please! Just please?"

After a couple moments of silence he final says something. "How about we start all over?" He suggests.

I reach my hand out, "hi, I'm Dean. Dean Winchester" a big smile.

"Nice to meet you Dean," he shakes my hand. I'm Castiel Novak."

"I know we've just met," I wink, "but Would you like to go on a date with me?" I ask.

"A date? Hmm okay!" He smiles big.

"Come on then!" I pull him by his hand.

"wait what? Already?" He seems shocked.

"Yup! Let's go!" I pull him down the stairs, out the front, and to my car.

"Thank you Cas." I say when I start the car.

"For what?"

"For being such an angel." I smile. I lean in toward him and try to kiss him. I miss his lips. The sweet taste of his tongue..

But he pushes me away.

"Wow, Dean.! We've only just met!" He jokes and winks at me and I chuckle.

"Oops." I wink back. "Well let's go!"

I think this was kinda crappy. I was falling asleep in parts trying to write it XD oh well. Hope you enjoyed it. Chapter 7 tomorrow :)
