6: Soni's Back

It's been a week since Kenneth sprained his arm. And by now, I think he's doing fine 'cause he's back at dancing. Kian's already on tour with the other guys and as far as I know, they're in Anaheim right now.

I just got done taking a shower and I really can't decide what to wear 'cause almost half of my closet is for laundry and I'm not yet taking them there to be washed. And since I got no choice, I just threw on some draped open back tank top with black sports bra, black leggings, blue roshe run flyknit, and settled everything I need on my drawstring bag.

I dried my hair and did an upside down braid bun. I got down, 7:31 PM, and Kenneth still hasn't showed up.

Weird. He always get earlier and he should be on our couch, watching and waiting for me as I get down.

A couple more minutes and I decided to just go.

"Mom, Kenneth isn't here yet. I'll be late." I told her and mom just smiled and nodded.

I got there quickly 'cause I'm already late. And to tell you, before I got there, I already heard cheers and loud music defining the building. And what's more shocking is that, when I got in, Kenneth's already there practicing with Bailey, Sean, and a girl. He must be having fun though. 'Cause he's laughing while they make fun of each other. His head shot up and then looked at my direction.

"Jodi!" He approached me and side-hugged me lightly. I just smiled a bit uncomfortable.

"Hi Jods." Bailey and Sean greeted me.

"Jodi, this is Soni." Kenneth introduced the girl. "And Soni, this is Jodi." Kenneth smiled at me.

"I knew her, I watch her videos on Urban Dance Camp." Soni turned to me. "You've improved so much since last year, Jodi." She told me.

"Oh, thank you." I was flattered. Hah.

"Hey, it was nice to see you again, Jodi." She held my hands and hugged me. I just did the same kinda awkwardly.

After that, Kenneth and Soni talked to each other all the time and it's like they haven't seen each other for years. It seems like they've known each other so many years now. Why are they talking to each other? I didn't know they're friends. 

"Are you okay, Jodi?" Bailey waved her hands up on me.

"Uhm, yeah." I tried smiling.

Later on, when we all finally learned the dance, Matt asked us to dance it.

I danced my heart out on this 'cause I liked the song.

"Try to catch the beat make up your heart...." I muttered the song under my breath as I looked at myself dance in the mirror and guess what?

Kenneth did that move to Soni, and I was not expecting that! I wasn't totally expecting that!!!

And with what Kenneth did, everyone cheered. Okay, bullshit, I don't know what's happening, and as I continue dancing, I'm getting out of focus.

"Focus, Jodi. Focus." I sighed.

"I didn't know you're friends with Soni, Ken." Sean told him.
