Today, I woke up so so so early. I usually get up at 6 or 7 AM, but it's just almost 5 AM. And the feeling that I wanted to go back to sleep but I cannot, sucks.

I got some clothes I left here in Sean's house 'cause I get to be here a lot of times.

I sat up and stood to start the day with the things I usually do. Stretch, brush my teeth, quick shower, and since it's early I just decided to jog 'cause I haven't for a month.

I checked my phone and I got a text from Val. 

Don't get me wrong, she's a really nice girl and all. She's sweet, pretty, and kind.

Good morning Kenny! I hope your friends didn't mind us texting esp Jodi ;) Hang out the soonest!

See what I'm talking about? She's the complete package! Who's a guys that wouldn't wish for someone like Val? Too bad, I already opened up my heart to someone who already had hers locked away. In other words, someone already stole my heart.

If it weren't for her, I'd give my love to Val ages ago.

Anyway, does Valentina Hidalgo have a boyfriend? I'll buzz on her later.

I put my earphones on and jogged.

I remember what Jodi said that day when Soni came back and it still hurts a lot.

"......... He gets into my nerves and annoys the shit out of me everytime. So it really isn't an issue if he'd go out with Soni. On that note, I'd be happy for him."

I have know her for the longest time and knew that she's not interested with me, but also for the longest time, I've also hoped that one day, he'd learn to see my worth, appreciate and love me back.

I've been thinking about it lately, I am slowly losing my touch of the hope that I've been holding for so long. Maybe it's because I've been so much hurt that my mind and could not take it any longer. But the longer I get hurt, the more I hold on as my heart silently scream, "Don't give up. Don't give up on her, give her chances."

So, I'm really determined to love her and to fight my love for her. But how long will I ever be like this? How long will we ever be like this? How many chances will I give her? How long will I hold on?

My thoughts were interrupted by my watch as it ringed signalling me that it's already 6:50 AM.

My eye caught Val sitting at one corner and when I got in, some fans "attacked" me. I looked at her as if asking if it's fine with him and she just nodded and smiled. I kindly accommodated the fans and took a couple of selfies with them.

"Sorry about that." I apologized as I sat across her. "Let me order first. The usual?" I asked her.

"Yeah." She nodded and I stood up to order and pay for our food. Heh, I'm a gentleman.

I walked back to the table with the tray of our foods.

 "Hey, you remember my favorite!" She shrieked and snapped a photo of me.

As I placed the tray on the table, I snatched her phone and opened Twitter app.

"Don't tweet that! Fans may think we're dating and kill me." She laughed. "A lot of girls would die to be me right now. Hahahaha!"

"Of course I'll tweet this." I grinned.

"Hey Ken, look at the girl at your back. She's giving me death glares and I think she saw what you tweeted." She giggled.

We started eating our food and the she put maple syrup on my nose. I did the same to her then we just laughed.

"Wait, don't wipe it yet. Twitter purposes!" She grabbed my phone which was on top of the table. This girl, though. She's so into pictures.

We posed for two selfies. And the other one with wacky faces.

"Conceited, aren't we?" I commented and she just giggled.

"Why? Am I not gorgeous." I just smiled at her and continued eating. "I'll take that as a yes."

I just laughed 'cause she's really funny.

"Don't you have a boyfriend, Val?" I asked, remembering the question in my head.

"It's hard getting into a relationship while living your dreams, ya'know. I don't have time." She casually replied. "I'm not planning into getting into one! It'll just be a headache." She smiled.

"But seriously, why don't you have a boyfriend? I won't buy your living a life excuses. Tati and Gabe survived that." I sipped my latte.

"Seriously? I'm waiting for someone realize something." She sighed.

"Waiting? Why, where is he?" I asked.

"Well, he doesn't love me. He's in love with someone else for who knows since when. And how do I get past that?" She explained.

"Does he know your feelings for him?" The air turned serious.

"No. Nobody knows but me, myself, and I." She half-smiled.

"Hidalgo!!! Why don't you tell him?" I told her. "Maybe he feels the same with you." I added.

"Heck, I'm a girl San Jose. I'm not making the first move And not a chance at all. It's hard to get against love." She explained.

"Then why not look for another one?" I asked.

"I'll return the question to you." She smirked. "Why Jodi? Why not look for another one?" She challenged.

With that, I fell silent. Val and I were on the same boat.

"Oh, suddenly quiet?" She smirked.

"I'm asking the question! You should've just answered." We laughed.
