I calmed myself to prevent too much pain attack by my HCM.

I strolled farther on the sands then sat for a while.

I let my tears stroll down.

"Jodi?" I heard someone call my name and I quickly wiped my tears off.

"Valentina?" I stood up surprised. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"We just finished the game and I decided to take a walk for a bit." She said. "You?" I just looked down and smiled. I sat down again and looked far.

I can't tell her.

"Is this about what happened a whike ago?" She sat down with me.

There was a long silence after she left a question for me but I didn't answer.

"I'm sorry."

I looked at her surprised.

"What?" I asked and looked at her.

"I said, I'm sorry." She whispered and looked at me, weak smile on her face.

"What do you mean?" I am so confused. Why is she even apologizing?

"For everything." She looked away. "You know, I tried being there for him. But no matter what I do, in his eyes, I knew he loves you. And I can never change that." She smiled.

I just listened as she continued speaking. She lied down on the sand as the cold night breeze hit our skins. I lied down too 'cause I feel like it.

"There's this new girl who's around him. He just met her a few hours ago." She said.

"Oh?" I asked her.

"Don't let him be like that. He's hardheaded but he knows when to avoid and respect, and he knows his limits especially that he loves you." She said.

"Why are you telling me this?" I asked.

"'Cause he needs you, and he loves you. Thus, I know you feel the same way." She told me. "The kiss? I'm sorry. I know that it was so wrong. It was enough for me to have as a good memory of my romantic love towards him that as I let him go. It was really nothing." She told me.

I just let her words sink in me for a while.

"You know, he always talk about you like you put the stars in the sky, in his sky." She looked at me and then at the sky which has full of stars. "I'm so sorry. If you think that I'm planning to get take him from you. If you think that I'll get him for myself. But I love him, Jodi. And I want him to be happy. So even if it hurts, I'm letting him go and love you." She said.

"It's sad. But he's slowly letting me slip away from him and I bet, he'll never love me anymore." I said.

"Don't worry, he'll boost up soon. He just needs to destroy his thoughts and the walls he built but not himself." She told me.

"But how? First, Soni, then you, and then a new girl? Fuck life." I told her as I threw a middle finger in the sky.

"Just be yourself. Love will make a way. All the elements for your success and happiness with is already settled. No need to search, struggle, or strive. Just be yourself, his heart will be attacked and conquered by his soft side. He's jus acting to brave when his not." Val and I laughed.

"Thank you, Valentina. You're such a nice girl." I hugged her.

She hugged me back.

"I know." She joked as she moved away to smile at me.

"Promise me you'll stay with him and love him, okay? My best friend's really one hardheaded ass." She told me as we giggled.

"I hope you find someone who'll love you too." I told her and she just hugged me tightly. It was hella tight but it was the comforting one.

"Don't tell him about our conversation. I told him that I'll act with him around you. And no worries, I'll help you." She winked.
