Silence followed after that, Ava stared at me not really shocked.

“You know,” She said slowly. “That doesn’t surprise me”

I nodded.

“So we have a killer as our Headmaster”

“No,” I shook my head. “He’s not the killer, but he’s part of the murders”

Ava started to pace back and forth, “Then we need to find out about him”

I smiled, “And I know how to do that”

A minute later Ava and I were standing behind the Headmasters office, he was away for a bit doing who-knows-what.

“All right,” I whispered. “You stay out here and keep watch, tell me if anyone is coming”

“Why can’t I come with you?” Ava whined.

“First of all I need someone to watch the door for me, second I don’t want you having visions and fainting on me,” I explained and added, “And you don’t know what kind of visions you’ll get”

Mumbling to herself she agreed.

I quickly opened the door to the Headmasters office and shut the door; the office was the same with a desk and chair. Paper covered the desk and a bookshelf was beside the desk. I made my way to it, the atmosphere was tense; I don’t blame it. With Mr Thompson in the room half the time it would be tense. I stood behind the chair looking for anything; I noticed a small dent under the desk, I leaned down and peered closer.

Well, well, I thought. What have you got here Mr Thompson?

There was a little lock big enough for a small key; if I wasn’t looking for it I wouldn’t have noticed it. Using my mind I put the lock in my mind and imagined it turning, a second later I heard a click, I smiled, to easy. Without touching it the small draw opened, and what I saw inside was a black necklace with three claw marks in the middle of it, the shape of the necklace was round and engraved on top of the claw marks was EOS, the chain was sterling silver.  I memorised the necklace and put it back it into its draw and it closed without me touching it.

I stood up and looked at the top of the desk paper was everywhere, I lifted the paper with my mind and they hovered in the air, one in particular caught my eye. I noticed it was a letter from Mr Thompson to someone private; I made the paper move towards me so that he was floating in front of my face and started to read.

To you-know-who,

Have you found out about Suspect One yet? What about Number Two? Is Number Two a threat we must eliminate? Bloody hurry up with the answers, I don’t pay you heaps for lousing around! The Boss is pleased with your finding; in my part it wasn’t good enough I need evidence! Don’t do anything yet, it’s not safe. Suspect Two is onto me, he believes I have something to do with the killer. I worry he is finding out to much, might need to get rid of him.

I felt my insides go cold at this.

We might have found The One, the person we have been waiting for, yet I feel unease. A staff at the Home is to protective of suspect number two, this cannot go well for us if we are to get rid of him. Suspect Two is to damn smart of his own good! Don’t do anything yet, if he gets too much then I will tell you when the time comes. You know what to do with him.

Until then be on your guard and no sitting on the job!
