I woke up before Ava and decided it was time for pay back; I hadn't got much sleep from last night, only a couple of hours at least. I got up and start to search for the air horn. I found it beside Ava's bedside table and quietly grabbed it, I laughed silently to myself. I stood beside Ava's bed and pressed the button, loud noise came from it, while at the same time I shouted.
"RISE AND SHINE!"
Ava sat up in bed like a rocket and stumbled out of her bed; she fell to the floor with a thud and groaned.
"You shit head," She mumbled, her voice muffled from the floor.
I tried to keep a straight face but I started laughing hard, "You should have seen your face!"
Ava got up and glared daggers at me, her hair was all over the place and she had a red mark from hitting the floor; this sent me into a laughing fit.
"Pay backs a bitch," I gasped, culching my side.
She stood there with her arms crossed, "Are you done yet?"
Another fit of laughter followed, after a couple of minutes I managed to control myself enough to stand up straight. A big grin was on my face.
"How does it feel?" I asked the grin still on my face.
"My ears are ringing and I feel like my heads has been thumped around," She said rolling her eyes at me.
My grin got bigger, "Come on I know you want to smile, I know you think it's funny. Just do a tiny smile, it doesn't take much"
She stood there and tried to hide it.
"I know you want to," I pressed.
A small smile broke out of Ava's face.
"Ha!" I yelled. "See doesn't that make you feel better now?"
She rolled her eyes and pushed me, I didn't move.
"Really that's all?" I grinned. "You hit like a girl"
"I am a girl you idiot," She smiled.
"Leo, Ava," Cook yelled. "Get dressed and come down here"
We both sighed and I went to my draw, got my clothes, and went into the bathroom to get changed. I got out of the bathroom and saw that Ava was changed. We both went through the trap door and I saw Cook in the hall, I noticed that there was a lot of people hanging around the hall; what was going on?
Cook smiled when he saw us, "Mr Thompson decided that everyone needed a trip out"
"Yes!" Ava exclaimed.
"That's not entirely true," A voice said behind Cook.
Anger burned within me when I saw Mr Thompson, he stared at me with a smirk on his face.
"You, Leo will not be coming with us," He said calmly.
"What!? That's not fair!" Ava yelled.
"And is bashing Clive fair? This is his punishment for that," Mr Thompson smiled, evilly.
"I'll stay with him then," Cook said.
"There is no need for that, I need Miss Nash and you for the trip and I don't want any arguments, Leo stays here, and that is final"
At that Mr Thompson walked away leaving no chance for further argument.
Cook sighed, "I wish you could come Leo but what the headmaster says goes, come on Ava"
